MoenS3870EPBN Twist Handheld Shower, Brushed Nickel

We are very pleased with this Moen shower fixture. It IS not as good a quality as the 40 year old Moen bathtub fixtures it is replacing, but that stuff is just old and nasty, although still completely functional.The different shower head feature turns very smoothly, excellent in fact, and the different pressures are good.The bar to raise and lower the shower head is a blessing that I didn't know I was missing until I could finally lower a shower head down to my very short height. Now tall household members can have the spray all the way up, and the shorter persons and children can bring this down all the way.The shower hose and attachment reach all the way to the tub bottom, so use for a child or pet it fine.I am pleased and would buy again, recommended.

This is a welcome change to our showers. The ability to aim the head away from the center, as opposed to a fixed shower head, ensures that you have hot water flowing before you step into the shower. The ease of twisting the head to get various flows is magic! The length of the extension is sufficient to allow you to sit on a bench/seat within 3 ft. Moen quality, i.e., durable and fashionable. On the down size: It is expensive to install $200 per shower! Of course this depends where you live and who you are dealing with.

A clever handheld shower head and grab bar combined. The shower head is easily positioned for stationary use by sliding up or down the bar, or removed and used as a handheld unit. A quality Moen fixture.

Thin wall material. Looks good. The head is plastic. Works well.

PLUSES: Nice appearance. Solid. The sliding shower head holder is of better quality than some I examined. The Moen twist showerhead works very well.CONS: Pricey. If your shower has a horizontal listello and the vertical slide bar crosses it, the bar's strong line will disrupt the shower wall's presentation.If you do not need height adjustment, you can buy the same Moen twist handheld showerhead and a Moen wall mount to obtain the same functionality at much lower cost.

My husband installed this handheld shower without any problems at all. It works beautifully. Looks great in our shower.
