great material - but elastic died on pants quickly (we use petroleum jelly)
I purchased 2 sets of these, since they are supposed to be great for sensitive skin and our baby struggles with eczema. Unfortunately the waistband elastic died within one wearing. This is probably due to contact with petroleum jelly (a common treatment for eczema). Not necessarily the fault of the Halo product, but its made the pants unwearable. I give the outfit 4 stars because the material is nice and cool and the fit is great on tbe tops.I also like the UV aspect, so this is a great water-play shirt that dries quickly.(wish this came in a one-piece version, so it would survive the petroleum jelly)

HUGE!!
My son is 33" tall and almost 30 lbs and he STILL does not fit in these! These pajamas are supposed to be 18 months and while he is 19 mos old he usually wears size 24 mos. I have purchased HALO sleepwear before and never noticed such a huge size discrepancy and wanted to be sure parents knew before they bought these. I know that one day he will fit in these and I am pretty sure they will work well as long as it is cold out.

Shirt fits well. Pants are huge!
I've been happy with most of my Halo purchases but I'm not thrilled with the over sized pants in this set. The waistband is probably 2" too large for my 17 month old daughter and almost falls off her body. Folding the waistband over several times helps but they still creep down and she steps on the cuffs and falls. We'll still keep the set because it is so much less expensive than the Patagonia and EMS alternatives.

Great, versatile product
This set is another great product from Halo. I started with one and now have five of these sets in different colors and sizes. We use them mainly for daytime since we live in a desert and these are great for protecting our daughter from the sun. She seems comfortable in them even in 90 degrees. We also used them in winter for layering. We haven't used them for sleeping yet, but I am sure they would work great for that too.The fabric is extremely light, doesn't wrinkle, folds into next to nothing (great for diaper bag), and dries super quick. It doesn't shrink in the wash either, but it also doesn't stretch. In other words, the size you see when you receive it is what you get. Our daughter is now 8 months old and wears both 6-9 and 9-12 months. The only problem is that the pants are huge; they seem to be a size bigger than the top. Not a big deal, they will last longer, but by the time they fit her well the top will be too small for her.It is also quite expensive, I bought mine on sale (which Amazon offers once in a while), otherwise I probably wouldn't buy that many. Will definitely purchase more as she grows. Wish the company would make these with short sleeves too!

Perfect for HOT weather...
We live in Texas, and the summers are very HOT. I was looking for pajamas that would be suitable in the hot summers and cold winters. I am so glad to have found these. They are very comfortable, easy to wash, although they can stain, especially with the lighter colored ones. As far as sizing, whether they run true to size all depends on the size of your little one. My little one is 8 months, 29 in and 22.5 lbs. The size 12 months fits right now but is on the brink of being too small, especially the shirt. The pants are a little long, but they're easy to roll up. I went ahead and ordered 3 of the size 18 months and a few of the 24 months. We will be using these as long as they make our size. We love them! Just wish I found them sooner. Definitely worth the price. You can sell all of the rest of your baby's pj's in a garage sale and stick with these.

Like the two piece technical over the onesie
Bought this for my 4 month old on a recent trip to Hawaii. My baby likes to be very warm or he won't stay asleep; yet I was unsure if Hawaii would be too hot. Also the weather tends to be very unpredictable where we're staying, even through the night so I needed something like this. It worked out great, my son slept and this kept him from getting too cold, and if he got hot I didn't have to worry that he was lying soaked in his sweat. It is fairly big for the size - my son is in 6-9 month clothes and I bought the 9-month size, and it was a bit roomy. I didn't mind though because it worked so well.I also bought the Halo Technical Comfort System Coverall but liked this better as it adjust to fit my baby better. Doesn't have the feet covered, but in hot weather this wasn't an issue anyway.

I want a set in every color! Fits much larger!
The material of these is very lightweight, yet seems to keep the baby warm. Or, conversely, keeps them cool when the weather is a bit warmer. (Yes, I went in to check on the baby while he was sleeping, in both warmer and cooler weather, and he always felt okay temperature wise.) That said, I do wish they made these with feet (bigger sizes of the Halo Technical Comfort System Coverall , please!) as it does get REALLY chilly here during a northern Michigan winter, and I honestly am not sure I would put my baby to bed with uncovered feet. That said, I can just put a pair of socks on. These jammies also wash very well and the boy is so cute in them!Edited to add: My son is now 27 months, 40 pounds, and almost 40" (yes, he's a big boy--in the 100th percentile) and he's just now starting to grow out of the 24mo set!

love the product but the shirt is WAY small
The pants fit just fine and should for several months. We bought the 6-9 for our baby at 5 months. The shirt was snug at 5 months but the pants were huge. She out grew the top by 6 months but the pants still fit her at 9 months. She is +/- 75 percentile...so not a chubby one at all.
