The cross bars came with the missing end caps. Contacted Amazon on the issue and vendor replied back very quickly and promised to send the 4 replacement end caps. They arrived on 9/30/2022. The units were installed on a 2020 Toyota Camry together with the Thule Evo Clamp Foot Pack, Part #710501, and Thule Fit Kit 5082, and they fit together perfectly on the car roof. Some noise arises while the car is in motion at high speed and with the front bar wrapped with a bungee cord the noise reduces considerably. Will post a picture of the post installation when I have a chance.

Missing all of the end caps. Product was advertised as like new, but shows scratches all over the bars.

Like many, I too was missing an end cap. Don't know why it's so common. Contacted Thule and they will be sending me one but said they were back ordered and won't receive them until a month out. Will update if I receive the end cap.Update: 4 endcaps received!

It’s tight but these do fit the 480R; zero tolerance to keep things solid. Check the ‘channel’ of these bars if you don’t immediately find the end caps. Mine were slid in there for shipping. The channels do not have the sliding guides/stoppers that you see in installation videos of other Thule crossbars. And the ‘guide numbers’ mentioned were also wrong for my vehicle. Finally, I referenced the guide numbers on the fit kit. Front was accurate. But I had to add +2 on each side for the rear. Note, the clamp of the fit kit needs to be very loose to get this right; almost to the point of falling off. But once tightened it’s all solid. No ‘whistle’ at 50Mph or slower on surface roads. TBD if it’s quiet at higher speeds. In contrast, Aeroblades on a different vehicle have a whistle even at low speeds; go figure.

I got these from Amazon. Box looked to be re-taped on one end. The end caps were missing. Called Thule and they are on back order and supposed to send me a set. The bars are pretty sharp w o them.The bars are good and strong and fit well. My only complaint is they are very noisy. I didn't think it would be noticeable but on my dodge caravan they start singing at 25 MPH.If this isn't an issue for you then no worries. It started to bother me so i sent them back for an aero pair. The Aero's are twice the price.

Item was sold to me as new and very obviously isn't. ( Likely a return after a failed installation attempt. It has scratches on the bars and one of the end caps is rather badly mangled) That being said, beggars can't be choosers. I needed something in time for a vacation and these came faster than the Thule website was willing to bring them. Hopefully, I can install the bars without issue.
