I bought a set of these to put into Morrocan lanterns on the patio. Not to give light but for effect. I ended up buying two more boxes and setting them up with a couple in the bathroom and bedrooms and another behind booze bottles on the drinks tray. The remote makes it super easy to turn them on and off it can also set a run time before switch off as well as controlling brightness level. The only downside is you get just one controller per pack and there isn't the option to buy another.Battery life is really good, each uses two aa cells. I run mine on the cheapest from Asda and so far in two months regular use 4hours a night no replacements needed. I suppose you could use rechargeable but I don't think it would be worth it.The body is made of wax, yep,real wax! So it can be trimmed with a knife if you want to expose more of the flame. This I did on the ones inside the lanterns and it allows the flicker to be more obvious. On that point you can set the light to candle mode - a patterned flicker- or steady.The range of the remote is pretty good too, I can control my patio light set through the conservatory window, a distance of approx 15 feet.

Candles are visually very good. Unfortunately one out of the 6 is faulty with the batteries going flat extremely fast, the other 5 are fine.Can't seem to be able to contact the seller about this problem which is frustrating.I would appreciate some help from Amazon if possible please.

I ordered those ,as I wanted candles in the same sizes for matching candlesticks. They look well and remote works as needed.My only, but major issue is the "flicker". They doesn't have moving "flame", just bulb hidden from view.Flicker is produced by automatic dimming and brightening the light. My complain is, its not random like in natural flame. Its very regular, dim-bright-dim-bright.....ect. After 10 min of having them near me in the bedroom I had to switch them to constant light as its regularity started to get on my nerves. Almost like techno music...Looking back I would choose different ones. But I.ll keep those and use in constant light mode. Some day will buy different ones.. This might be only an issue for me and others can be indifferent to what's annoying for me. If one an ignore that regularity, that they are very good ones.

Good quality could be brighter

Purchased these to place inside Hurricane Lamps for my balcony. The timer and remote control is perfect, as I don’t have to touch them now.I purchased last year but unfortunately they melted in the sun! Will not make that mistake again and keep in the shade.

The candles are a nice size, they are very orange in colour when lit, which is slightly unrealistic. But they do the job, remote control works well and the tier is perfect.

As title and same as others have said I did get a faulty one however the other 5 work fine and look pretty realistic.
