Once you start reading this book you will be drawn in by the story and will not be able to put it down until you've finished......And even then, you'll want to read it again or look back through all the amazing photographs!Throughout, the book highlights the stray dog problem in Spain, the factors which influence this and what charities and individuals are doing to tackle this problem by improving the welfare of so many dogs. It includes case studies of previous rescued dogs which makes you fall in love with each one of them. There are also so many beautiful pictures throughout the book, which pull even more at the heart strings!All in all, an absolutely brilliant read.I will be recommending this book to friend family and work colleagues.

A truly beautiful book, both in content and delivery. It details the stories of how the rescue organisation was set up to aid the over burdened Spanish shelters, along with individual case studies of some of the rescued dogs, without being too over sentimental or depressing to read. The book also looks at the causes of the over population of stray and unwanted dogs, and reviews what is being done by a few determined and inspirational individuals to reach a solution.Well worth buying even if just for the photographs alone; the expressions of the dogs featured are captured really well.

I read this wonderful book in one sitting, loved all the amazing photos (of which their were so many) and really got a feel for the lives of Spanish homeless dogs, as well as all the horrors of the way Galgos and Podencos are treated. I loved the individual case studies of the dogs brought back to the UK for homing. Bless you for giving them a chance and telling your story. Highly recommended.

A must for all dog lovers. This beautiful book is about some very amazing people and animals - made me cry tears of sadness and happiness. The photographs are gorgeous and it tells a wonderful story about following your heart, not your head... thank goodness Tania and Sam did just that :-) Highly recommended!!!

Great read. Wonderful pictures which add to the emotional journey that many of these dogs go through. When people ask why rescue a Spanish dog???? Buy them a copy of this book. This is why. Great read, great photos, all in all a great book.
