Glidden Latex Paint, Barn and Fence, 4098F/01, Flat, Exterior, 1 gal, White

I really loved tnis paimt! The consistency was perfect so it went on smooth and it was nice to apply it. It washed up pretty well and dried a nice matte shade of chalky white. It was not blinding white like the others i had gotten before and i really liked that. When i went to purchase again i saw it was not available and i am not sure whether it is discontinued or something else but i was unable to buy it. Great paint for a wide variety of surfaces.

Avoid at all cost - shipping is a disaster! I ordered in March 2026 and it was shipped via UPS. It reached my local UPS as scheduled, but was immediately labeled as damaged and returned to sender. I re-ordered the same product the next month and this time it was shipped via USPS. Again, it arrived as scheduled, and again, the item was damaged and returned to sender. Glidden manufactures this product and they are the ones who mail it. Shame on them for being 2-time losers.

The lid was not secure and was delivered upside down. Looks like great paint, but the company needs to find a way to secure the paint can and place a side up note to prevent this from happening. The paint leaked on my porch. Luckily I was home or it would have been much worse. Daniel from Amazon was super helpful and is replacing the paint. Amazon is the best!!!

Paint is good for covering old paint that's faded but not good for fence or barn, and the delivery was a mess the paint was leaking everywhere on my porch the can lid was only held with tape on the lid and not the little metal clips like it should have had, I'm only leaving 4 stars because of the non use of metal clips that caused leakage

o.k. have had a chance to use part of my gallon of paint. put directly on bare plywood and of course the wood soaked up the first coat like a sponge but the second coat covered nicely. pretty good paint in my opinion.

Am sure this is good paint. I knew this would be a gamble for shipping with Amazon, but the price was impossible to beat at any conventional store. Luckily it was at least placed inside a plastic bag, but it had already started to leak out and into the box. Amazon at first wanted me to ship that back via UPS. I don't think that would have worked out too well. Excellent price, just be ready for the mess.
