I read the dimensions before I bought but in real life Chilly Mama is quite large, and her elbows stick out. She has fun "chilly" colours that aren't normal food colours to avoid any confusion. I've always kept baking soda in a ramekin in the fridge (which could be mistaken for food) and often forgot to replace it as it was inconspicuous. Put Conspicuous Chilly Mama on a shelf at your eyeline and no way can you forget.The month (e.g. "JUL" for July) displays more clearly than it seems from the advert photos. The date display is what sold it to me over rivals e.g. the penguin is cuter but has no date display. The display would be easier to read if the writing was a different colour to the background - what's needed here is a bit more functionality over looks.On first use, so as to fill her, I found it awkward to undo the hair and do up again. Instructions are on the box. You need to twist the hair and push it off but you daren't push too hard in case you break it - it was stiff and her left arm got in the way when I turned the hair, because I hoped that by turning the hair I could find the right position to push it off. If you peer closely into the inner workings you can see there's a protrusion that fits into an indentation: I suggest a Mark 2 version has this position marked by arrows on the outside so that all you have to do is line it up, quick and easy. Maybe it'll work looser in time and become easier.Comes in a presentable box, if you're considering giving it as an unusual gift.

Was a little larger than i thought it would be but fridge was odour free in no time work great

Product is ok but is missing the hand. Doesn’t stop product doing what it was bought for but a bit annoying that it is incomplete. Too much hassle to send back for a replacement.

It’s ridiculous that Amazon won’t listen ONLY FRIDGE DEODORISER IN BOX the MICROWAVE CLEANER MISSING.

Too big, by mistake I didnt check the size. Takes a big space in my fridge!

Just add baking soda to a pot, does the same job

It’s kind of difficult to assemble and disassemble. It’s much larger than I expected. But it does it’s job well and looks fun. There isn’t an interesting alternative so I guess although not perfect it works.
