This product offers decent performance and is lightweight, which I appreciate. However, the battery life could use improvement - it drains quickly (lasting only 3-4 minutes at max settings) and takes an hour to recharge. To fully utilize this device for more demanding tasks, investing in a larger battery would be necessary. Unfortunately, I wish it had a brushless motor; opting for the brushless motor version might have been wiser. Despite these drawbacks, the product is reasonably priced and provides good value overall.

I bought these as prizes for my employees and they love them. They have to disassemble furniture all day so these make their job easy and fast. Craftsman is a great brand. Personally, I have an impact drill, a nail gun, and an electric trimmer, all Craftsman and they are fantastic! I was always a Dewalt guy, but I’m moving more to Craftsman as they are less expensive and as good of a product. This particular drill is light weight and has a good battery life, so my guys are able to take it in the field easily and it lasts all day, even with those pesky IKEA beds!

I used my original drill a lot and somehow damaged the chuck gear head causing it to wobble. Probably over worked it where a heavier duty or higher quality drill would have survived. This is a nice drill when used correctly. Unfortunately, there a very few replacement parts (4 stars). This pack comes with a charger and a 12VDC 1.5ah battery. My original came with a 1.3ah battery which has lost some of it's initial surge power (i.e. won't start the drill at WOT). This set's battery will start at WOT. The charger works great. I've since ordered 3ah batteries which really makes a big difference in initial start and running. I read that the 4 & 6aH batteries are available but the price jumps. If you're a "once-in-a-while DIYer this is a very good drill set just may wish to upgrade the battery for longer work time.

Well made and plenty of torque and features. Batteries last a good while. I use my tools a lot..,Craftsman battery shop vac, stick vacuum, hedge trimmer, saber saw, flush cut saw, string trimmer. They all use the same batteries and they all hold up well. Treat your tools respectfully and they will last a long time.

Small hard-working drill, this is the second one I bought I really like them for the price

The name speaks for itself craftsman. Before the big boy brand names became popular again craftsman offered people products that were great and not as expensive as the three or $400 drill just think about that the design is a nice looking design and the tool works like a craftsman always worked. It’s powerful and very easy to use. You can adjust the torque. It’s a keyless chuck and I did work with it for hours and the battery still was as powerful as when I started. Excellent tool excellent price still worth getting for your workshops
