The unit comes standard with a 16 foot line set and enough refrigerant in the compressor to cover up to a 25 foot line set. Line sets longer than 16 foot are an add-on option for a little more money.

Q: How long is the pre-charged line set?

The line set is not pre-charged. After connection it is necessary to pull a vacuum on the line set. There is enough refrigerant in the compressor to cover up to a 25 foot line set.

Q: What are the options to replace with a more up to date thermostat?

According to the manufacturer, none. I’m going to do some research and see if I can find a solution though.
