Collector's Guide to the Mica Group (Schiffer Earth Science Monographs, 1)

This is another part of the Schiffer Earth science Monographs and is accurate and a good basic guide for studying more on mica. Great photos and a good variety of various types of mica. It will be useful for collectors and those interested in knowing more about this species.

This book takes you beyond the usual well known micas and lets you see the seldom seen. The only complaint I have is that it neglects the fine U.S. micas available.

I have bought several books in the series..This one was the pits! I returned it quickly!

This book is nice, interesting for the mineral collector, but I'm not satisfied for the images; there are a lot of pictures but resolution, definition and printing is very poor.
