Brilliant gate got it to stop our naughty puppy chasing our cat upstairs easy to fit and does a great job.

My partner fitted the gate to a bedroom door . Easy to do - took him a few minutes.Sturdy gate once fitted . We are using it for when grandkids sleep over . Very pleased with it

Good product, fits well, easy to install but has stopped auto closing after 6 months. Not safe anymore so taken down

Easy to use, very safe and secure to ensure 2 year old grandson stays safely in his bedroom at night.

The gate was sturdy and easy to install.After i installed the gate i found it difficult to use on a every day basis.You have to really lift the gate out of the lock to open it, not practical when you coming down the stairs with a baby in your arms and when your up and down the stairs 20 odd times a day.

Ok, after searching through all the fitting instructions, watching the video on the website, reading all the info on this listing and all the reviews... I still didn’t know how to actually open this gate once installed. I feel a bit silly, but I’m just putting it here incase anyone else is in the same boat! After several days of pushing and pulling and being unable to work out what the seemingly useless little catch on top of the gate is for - I have now worked out that you slide the catch back, lift the gate right up until the magnet releases and then open...The gate looks great, and it’s so far held off the advances of my overly zealous 1 year old. The advice is to tighten up the wall screws every few days or so as they will work loose, and that seems accurate so far. It swings itself shut behind you which is great, and it always catches and locks.You do have to line it up just right when installing it, which takes a few attempts at tightening all the wall screws evenly. But it looks like once it’s in, it’s in. The space we had to fit was 102cm, so had to get the extenders and they were a doddle to fit together and look totally fine. So yeah, overall I’m happy and apart from the slightly fiddly opening mechanism, I’m happy.Having spent a few days battling with the gate, I do totally understand the negative reviews on here about the catch coming loose etc - if you don’t open it just right (tricky when carrying a squirmy child) then it will take a beating. But once I cracked it, I haven’t had any issues since.
