If you like self centered heroines then this book is for you. Even Kira’s love interest questions her moral compass—which is dismissed later on in a moment where she is seemingly willing to sacrifice her comfort to help the tribe but yet not really because it’s prefaced with how she doesn’t want to do it. Then she later helps herself (read:steals) medical supplies from another group of survivors. She is utterly unlikeable. To summarize her personality she is the low key bitch in the office that men like and you tolerate only because you have to work with her. Other things that drove me nuts: references to how slim she was, petty insecure jealously for another character whom she suddenly decides to be friends with, weird racial I’m a victim because I am a white girl dynamic, etc. It was inane. The writing was also problematic at times. The author clearly forgot a few things she had set up earlier in book—like the hero’s dead father only to reference later how his father would be proud if he had a child as if he was still alive. I had to force myself to finish the book. Only thing enjoyable about this book is getting a little more slice of life about Lydia and Kai the characters from the previous Unfrozen book.

What a fantastic addition to the VALOS of SONHADRA collection !! You could have knocked me over with a feather when I was scrolling through my FB pages , and saw that there was a NEW book of SONHARDA!! I have been a reader from the very beginning since Amanda MILO is one of my favorite Authors, and often wondered if there would be more stories of the survivors of the prison spaceship, the Concorde. Well , I do not have to wonder anymore. In this 10th book, the Northern Valos are once again featured .About 5 months after the Alpha pod gets stranded on a strange alien planet, SONHARDA, KIRA finds herself in the mountain Caldera of the Fire Valos. But , because of the unholy, and unethical experiment s that most of the inmates of the ill-fated Concorde had to endure , Kira found the extremely hot environment too much to deal with . Anything above a freezing temperature disagreed with her . So, she and her fellow shipmates Amber along with Amber's men-folk find themselves traveling a great distance North to a more cooler climate. This is where she meets "DUKE" ,a Northern Valo s from the UNFROZEN story of Lydia and KAI. Their road to HEA is fraught with distrust, attraction, and danger, as most of this planet is trying to eat them ! And I enjoyed the story of Kira and Duke and his family. And this book also moves the Sonhadrian survivors forward, with , hopefully, many more stories to come !!! I am now anxiously waiting for more of this fantastic series !!!

Great story. I was a bit reluctant to start a multi-author series because I have been disappointed in the past with authors that I love changing their style to suit the parameters of the project but I could not resist so many of my favorite authors as a group. The authors stayed true to their style. I loved this story and have high hopes for the rest and I am happy to report that I have not been disappointed in the slightest. I am SO happy I gave this a try.

Not my favorite of the serious but not the worst one to me. I was hoping she would have more of impact to their race than just knowing how to work a 3D printer... And she was afraid of seriously everything. After this experience of this prison ship, I would think not much could knock these girls down but... All in all, not a bad story. I wouldn't read it again but it was terrible.

Intriguing characters, amazing world and awesome storyline. This Series has gone far beyond all of my expectations. Love, love, loved Iced!

I read some of the reviews that gave a very low star rating. I don't understand why myself. I really enjoyed this story! This series , besides the one F/MM ( I'm so not into reading that) was a great series. You won't regret reading it.

I was happy with all of the stories connecting! Thanks for the closure! We need more authors getting together like this.

I really enjoyed reading about the Valos people again. Wonderful characters that just drew you right in and made you feel like part of their world. Awesome world building and the adventures were non stop. It was awesome to hear about the other couples and cities. I really really can't wait to read the next in this series by these wonderful authors.
