I was way over due for new sheets and I do not like shopping in the store much. Made me nervous buying something I couldn’t touch but… I got the sheets and was very happy:) the color was spot on. I would not leave a review until I washed them a couple times. I still love the sheets are supersoft and I love climbing in the bed! Will not hesitate to buy another set

In our house each of us uses 3 pillows so I always need additional coordinating or contrasting pillow cases. It’s very hard to find top quality high threadcount pillow cases at a fair price. I turned to Amazon and found the Mayfair Linen 100% Egyptian Cotton pillow cases in a navy blue. The price was so reasonable I was expecting a basic cas. Instead, upon opening the pillow cases, I found luxurious and soft cases. They were a generous size and fit. I’ve used the cases and they were very comfortable and smooth against my face. They wash and dry nicely, retaining their size and true shape.This review was written in exchange for consideration. I highly recommend Mayfair linen products.

Very nice pillow cases for the guest bedroom

Good value for quality sheets. I prefer heavy sheets that don't feel like they'll slip and slide around while I'm sleeping. Normally you give up some softness with thicker sheets, rather if you're looking for silky smooth sheets they'll be on the thinner side. These are a good balance of thickness and softness. I feel like these will hold up for a long time and get a bit softer with use.Update 8/9/17 Lowering to one star for a few reasons. First, the seller contacted me after to solicit a good review, saying they'd send me a another set free (which never came). Since then, they continue to send promotional emails using Amazon's "additional information required for your order" communication which I don't think is allowed. This wouldn't normally be a big deal but since it's requesting "additional info" for an order, you can't unsubscribe to those messages. While the sheets are OK, the seller's practices are not.

My favorite brand of Egyptian cotton sheets were discontinued, and I had to find something new when our last sheet finally wore a hole. I reviewed several different options on Amazon, and settled for Mayfair Linen brand. There were a handful of bad reviews, but a lot of good ones, which gave me confidence.I was very excited to receive my order, and I washed the sheets right away, per the instructions on the package - cold water, tumble dry low.I hate to say it, but these sheets are a huge disappointment. They are not soft or silky, but honestly quite scratchy. At 800TC, they are significantly thinner than the 600TC sheets that I have been using for the last several years.I decided to give them a try, and see if they soften up after a few washes. After all, I need new sheets TONIGHT. But despite the manufacturer stating that they will fit a 15” deep mattress, I can’t even pull them over my 13” set. The fitted sheet fits fine on three corners, but I can’t even get it over the fourth corner. It’s not even an issue of the depth, but the area that covers the top of the mattress.I’m honestly very disapppinted with these sheets, and will be returning them for a refund.

For a product that avertises a 800 thread count, I was less than impressed. I have other 800's and they are all nicer that these. The main / only reason I bought them was I needed two more cases in ivory, and these were the only ones I could find close to the color and specs I needed. The original sheet set I bought (diff vendor) only comes with two cases and according to their cust serv center, they do not make just the cases to be sold separatly, hence this purchase. Wont do it again, for either vendor.Update - Reduced rating to a single star. After washing, they shrank so much, I had to push and pull the pillow into them. Would not recommend aquiring these cases, look elsewhere if you want 800tc. They are very thin, like a 300 or 400tc.

I am so disappointed in this purchase! I followed the washing instructions exactly and when I pulled them out of the dryer they were quite wrinkly, which I could tolerate, but the seems on the pillow cases shifted. They no longer played flay, it is like they are twisted. My husband and I could only sleep on them one night and had to take them off because it was like sleeping on sand paper. VERY DISAPPOINTED!

I ordered the ivory standard pillowcases to match a set that only had king-size pillowcases. Before the wash, the colors matched perfectly. After the wash (regular tide soap, cold water, nothing else in the machine) they turned yellow with white blotches on them. The fabric also lost its softness. Not sure what happened.

Strangest pillow case I’ve ever bought. There is nowhere to tick the pillow into so it slides off the pillow. Usually pillowcases have a piece of fabric that you slide the pillow into to secure the pillowcase. Never seen one like this in my life. Fabric quality was excellent.
