I originally purchased it to compare fixed flow rate versus my hand pour to see if my hand pour was causing any channeling (it was). Consistency, of course is the main benefit here but I didn't expect how much this thing would simplify my brewing process. Great simple device.

I’m sure that experienced pour over brewers feel that this is a waste of money. I’m just starting and I found this helpful in getting a good pour over coffee from the first cup.

Love this tool. Making pour over coffee is less hands-on with this. Provides a slow even drip yielding a delicious cup of coffee everytime.

This is an overpriced gadget in a nutshell. It’s nothing but a shower head which tends to spray water in drops over the coffee grounds. The coffee it made was soulless and was far from vibrant. There is serious temperature loss and the coffee did not taste good. Also when the water was poured from inner ring to the outer ring, Water escapes the grounds and exits via the walls of the dripper especially when using smaller brewers like Melitta one cup. If you are serious about your coffee , use a good goose neck kettle and pour it with patience. The efforts are rewarding. Even the Oxo pour over dripper with inbuilt water reservoir was way better than this . Sorry I want to like this , but my taste buds simply cannot seem to agree.

Suitable for normal coffee drinkers wanting to improve the quality of their daily brew with little fuss. If you measure your coffee by the scoop rather than by weight, and especially if you buy ground coffee at the grocery store, the Gabi Master B has your name all over it.Coffee nerds would be far better served by the Melodrip.
