Worked as designed and fixed my issue
I watched a utube video on how to replace. Wasnt super easy ut hard to beat a $10 fixed laptop. My laptop wouldnt charge.

Easy to install if you are technically inclined
I am an engineer so it was easy for me to install. It will be say to install if you are comfortable disassembling electronic devices.

Good fit, works perfectly.
Easy drop in replacement. It is about 8mm longer than the stock cable which works fine, and avoids the overstretching issue that the OEM cable has on certain Inspiron models.

It worked.
It was a pain to install, but that's Dell's fault. The only complaint I had was that the ferrite bead was much larger than the original and was spaced differently which required some creative routing. Otherwise, all was well and my son no longer has an excuse to miss class.

Everything was smooth, I couldn't be happier with my service and product.
I got the perfect connector replacement for my Dell Inspiron 15 5555 laptop, arrived very quickly, and in pristine shape (all testing came back perfect as well).Unfortunately on my part, I accidentally bent the pins removing the old connector (which was why I thought I needed a new one) and broke one trying to straighten them all out; so I didn't get to try it out that way. I'll have to get a new motherboard before I can test the longevity of the connector, but my guess is that it will last me several years.

Too Short for the Dell 15 500
Did not fit my PC as described - both ends where correct but the cable was almost 2 inches too short. I had to splice my old one to get a temporary fix as I wait for the correct cable to arrive.
