The knee part is too small for adults
I don’t know who they’ve made it for! I’m 5 8” and 125 LB. I’m not over weight at all! But the largest adult size knee part is still too small for me as you see in the picture. I measured my leg before ordering and it should be fitted well based on that but still it’s too small. The wrist part is fitted great! The elbow part is very tight but still usable but the knee part is not usable at all. It is made for kids

Great for Kids and small adults
Bought these for my girlfriend who is 5 foot, 100 lbs and she loved them. The knee and elbow pads are especially nice because the sleeves are comfortable and hold them in place (straps only tend to slide off). They are lightweight and the protective part made of thin plastic so they are definitely only for kids and/or very small, light adults. It's a great value as a starter kit.

Poor Quality - Poor Impact Protection - Not for someone who is serious about skating injury-free!
If you're getting these because you don't need them, and have to wear them because of "rules", then fine. They are cheap AF. BUT if you actually want to feel confident that you can take risks without serious harm, THESE ARE NOT FOR YOU!I bought these pads thinking "hmm... they seem too cheap to be any good." But, like you, I was looking at the many positive reviews thinking "they must be decent after all." WRONG! Wow -when they arrived I noticed how incredibly CHEAP the materials were: the armor itself is thin -like the plastic lid of a can of peanuts! And the foam under the armor is like cheap packing material! The wrist guards mimic the design of high quality guards, but use EXTREMELY CHEAP fabric. This cheap nylon doesn't have the ability to meld with your skin the way better materials do -so these guards will always feel loose! -even when the are tightened all the way. I was extremely doubtful, but gave them a try. After one fall on my knees I thought -ok -maybe they work after all... WRONG! hours later my knee was aching, and turned purple! Similarly, after a few forward falls on my hands, the wrist guards didn't keep my wrists from swelling and aching later. My left wrist is seriously messed up because I trusted these crappy imitation pads.

A little tight but get the job done!
They aren’t the most comfortable thing but I cannot imagine any pads being comfy. What matters is that they get the job done! It’s been about 20 years since I rollerbladed (in my teens) and now, as a 38 year old mother of two I decided to reactivate and have something to do outside during the pandemic, well rollerblades it is! I chose these pads based on price and ratings. Yes the knees are a little tight but I figured if they’re any loose they won’t stay in place. I am 5’6” and about 130lbs. I don’t have big legs.On the first day I wore these, I decided to skip the elbow pads, because I was just going to do “a little test”, well, I ended up meeting the road up close and regretted that decision, but I’m happy to inform my wrists, knees and head (which were indeed padded and protected) were spared! Needless to say I will NOT be skipping the elbow pads next time because these do get the job done!

Better design than others
Great job by the design wizards that realized putting the receiving side of the velcro on the front allows for a tighter fit. Other, similar designs in the same size would have required my 9 year old son to have 24 inch pythons of arms in order for them to fit based on velcro placement. My son can put this all on himself and definitely has higher level of confidence on his skateboard. No hard spills (yet!) so cannot comment on durability but they seem to be of good quality. If velcro starts to wear out or other issues I'll be back to comment. Makes me wish Amazon had a "reminder" for reviews so shoppers can come back and update as I know my opinion of products has changed over time based on performance.

Great fit
This protective gear (size small) fits my eight year old perfectly. He is able to articulate his limbs while wearing it, and can comfortably ride his skateboard. They seem to be made well, and I believe they’ll hold up to impact from falls.

May not work very well for kids with very narrow arms
We use them for roller skating for my daughters who are both 5. The arm bands move around on the smaller daughter's arms even when on the tightest possible way. They also left a mark on the kids' arms and were not very comfortable. These problems may be preventable by placing a washcloth or similar item under the child's arms so that the fit is better. We were happy with the product otherwise and will keep it

Holds up
My daughter bought these because she’s learning to skate and keeps falling. These have been a life saver and have actually held up extremely well. They aren’t bulky and work great!
