First NB shoes and they fit great and are very supportive

These shoes are great for walking around the city. They are supportive, fit snug, and provide the right amount of breathability for short walks.

The listing said the fabric is polyester... the actual package insert says the non-mesh parts of the upper are leather. The label on the tongue says not to machine wash... I've been machine washing my NB shoes for many years. When they need washing, I'll put them in the machine with our other sneakers and hope for the best. On first wearing to Lowe's and Kroger, the fit and comfort are fine.

These are pretty good shoes. Need some inserts to make them more comfortable. Giving it 4 stars because it went on sale for $70 a day after I purchased for $89.

I bought these for my fiance and they looked absolutely amazing; however we ended up returning them because the toe box was extremely narrow yet he doesn't even normally require a wide width shoe. I was super disappointed because I've never had a pair of New Balance that had a narrow toe box, and these were a birthday present for him. They also were perfect in the color and style, it had been super difficult to find the colors in which they were done in this shoe so that's even more disappointing. We ended up getting an entirely different brand and color scheme. This has definitely caused me to not think as highly of NB anymore unfortunately.

Son muy cómodos, los materiales si sienten de muy buena calidad, el número corresponde al que normalmente usas, por lo menos así fue mi caso y el empaque venía en muy buenas condiciones al igual que los tenis.

Es el segundo par que tengo de este modelo (997H) son muy ligeros, cómodos y su silueta se ve muy bien, valen completamente la pena.

Excelente me gustaron ese modelo que tiene new balance ya que en México no se encuentra fácil, cómodos y fiel a la talla!!

Después de su uso diario, puedo decir que son muy cómodos, al principio la suela es dura, pero conforme pasa el tiempo se amolda al pie, volvería a comprarlo.

I suffer from osteoarthritis in both of my feet and ankles, and find it difficult to walk. In addition, both of my knees are also wearing out with a lot of pain. I have tried several walking shoes over the years, but nothing seemed to help. These NB 997H shoes were highly recommended so I thought I would take a chance and ordered them. I checked prices locally and found they were over $130 at the stores, so the Amazon price, even with the shipping fees, was much less. They were delivered within the 2 week time frame which surprised me as they were shipped from Britain! I noticed the difference the minute I put them on, and I have been walking with them every day for the past 2 weeks. I would say 75% of my foot pain has eased, with significant improvement in my knees. I am very pleased with these shoes, and I pray they will last a good long time. So far I highly recommend them.
