From start to finish it was so good. I'm about to read it for a second time lol. Definitely recommend

Man oh man this book is hot sex on a platter. I have to say I am really upset at myself for not reading this series sooner. I really loved the beginning of this series. I have to say that I read book six first and while I was reading Mine To Hold I realized that all the characters knew each other and had a close relationship with one another. So I decided to look into the book and the author and that is when I found out I read book six like a moron. So I decided I needed to read the other five books to get the full impact of what was going on.In Wicked Ties we meet Morgan O'Malley who is the host of a sex talk show. She is a smart and beautiful women who is looking for someone to meet her every needs and desires. She is working on a segment on BDSM and she is going to talk to a dominant who is going to be interviewed for her next show. She worries about going to see him because she has a stalker and he is getting more and more brazen by following her where ever she goes. He sends her letters and pictures of her every move and tells her he is going to kill her because she is his and his alone. While talking to the dominant via e-mail chat the dominant tells Morgan he has to go for business and wants to meet her. She decides to meet him in Louisiana at a restaurant of her choosing.Morgan is afraid to go to Louisiana because of her stalker but once she gets there and meets the dominant she is enthralled by him. As they are talking the dominant notices something out of the corner of his eyes and shouts at Morgan to get down as someone starts shooting at Morgan. Morgan is laying underneath the dominant who she finds out his name is Jack. Jack is a body guard and ex military man so he knows how to protect people and in that moment where Morgan is getting shot at Jack decides he is going to protect Morgan. As Jack decides what to do next with Morgan he enlists the help of his partner and best friend Deke.Jack hides Morgan at his house on the bayou until he and Deke figure out who Morgan's stalker is. As Jack and Morgan spend more time together Morgan is starting to wonder if her fantasies can become reality. See Morgan secretly has fantasies and desires that she needs but she will not admit to them. But the more time she spend with Jack the dominant the more she knows he can fulfill her fantasies. But the age old question is will she be able to submit to Jack or will she hide her fantasies and move on? Plus she has to worry about the stalker.Who is her stalker? Why is he stalking her? Why does he want her dead? What will happen between her and Jack? Will she let her guard down enough for Jack to give her what she wants no what she needs? If all you want in a BDSM romance is scorching sex scenes, Wicked Ties probably won't disappoint you.The chemistry between Morgan O'Malley the host of a sex talk show and self-proclaimed dominant bodyguard Jack Cole was immediate and powerful.When Morgan's stalker found her and took a shot at her during Morgan's interview with Jack, Jack declared himself her bodyguard and whisked her away to a remote cabin which only intensified the sizzle between them.Though the attraction between Morgan and Jack was strong, and it was clear that Morgan was attracted by Jack's dominance I found his behavior early in the book to be reprehensible.First of all, being curious about BDSM or D/s or being attracted to someone who is a dom is not the same as giving consent for a BDSM or D/s relationship to ensue. From the moment Morgan and Jack meet for their interview Jack focused on turning what should have been a general discussion about BDSM relationships into a personal attempt to get Morgan to submit to him.That worked okay in the opening, but once he took her to his cabin to protect her from the stalker his focus on getting her to submit sexually intensified to the point that he was like a relentless bulldozer, continually pushing and demanding and not taking any time to get to know her on anything other than a sexual level.He seemed to think from the outset that he knew Morgan's needs better than she knew them herself, all on the space of a couple of days acquaintance. In the early part of the book he wasn't patient, he didn't encourage her to open up to him emotionally, he just pushed and pushed and pushed for her to submit sexually. When she said no he didn't take no for an answer (again thinking he knows what she needs better than she does).Spoiler alert:As if his constantly pushing for her submission wasn't enough, Jack at one point tells Morgan that BDSM is built on trust. He does this in the same general timeframe as he is encouraging her to trust him, so that he can tape their first sexual encounter so that he can send it to her fiancé, against whom he has a grudge. This is reprehensible behavior for any hero, let alone the hero in a BDSM book, where relationship needs to be based on trust.If BDSM is built on trust then it requires a partner who is trustworthy. I didn't find Jack trustworthy, particularly in the first portion of the book. He earned a little of my respect later in the book when he had to overcome his own misgivings to give Morgan a sexual experience that was important to her. He earned a bit more when the past came crashing down and he had to own up to sending the tape.Though the sex scenes are very hot and are very well written I would recommend this book cautiously. Some readers are likely to be put off by Jack's behavior early in the book (as I was). For some his later behavior will make up for it. For others the bad taste left early on will not be overcome.

Great book!

Firstly this isn't all bad for a quick read erotica. But why oh why is every single erotica book about submissive women and dominant men with playrooms and nipple clamps?Don't get me wrong I'm all for a bit of BDSM every now and again but a lot of the time it's all you get with erotica authors. I'd love love love to read a book where a guy is all alpha male but doesn't use nipple clamps and whips to show it. There are other more subtle forms of dominance and D/s that can be sexier.Also this author doesn't do the 'hero' many favours in my book when he keeps positively pushing himself on the heroine. Half the time I felt like I was reading dubious consent scenes and that left a bad taste in my mouth.The scene that really bugged me was when they had 'vanilla' sex and she's made to feel like crap. That's because as usual he's playing games with her. Refusing to speak or really be engaged. So in essence he's not doing what he promised - making love to her the way she wants - but playing childish games.The whole thing just left a slightly bad taste in my mouth. Deke seemed like a much cooler guy than our hero and I warmed to him a lot more. I might give one more of these a try just because so many people seem to love her writing and maybe this particular book was just a bad one out the bunch.I would have given this two stars if it wasn't for the hot menage scene which finally was actually quite sexy (probably because it had Deke in it who treats the heroine with a lot more respect than the supposed hero).

I really enjoyed this book - the characters were delightful, funny and sexy. It is one of the few books I have re-read lately - so this gives you an indication how much fun it is. Morgan is really independant and smart and Jack Cole is gorgeous and has a wicked sense of humour. I really enjoyed their verbal sparring as well as the hot love scenes (especially the first scene in the bathroom!!) I am always looking for a book with more than 250 pages, as I feel like I want to truly understand the characters motivations/thoughts/feelings and not just read about the sexual fantasies and Wicked Ties does this well.

The way the book is written is good and main characters are complex. Story is basically D/s in the wild. (Some DD/s) If loads of sex is what your wanting you will find it here, but there are better options by this author and others if you're looking for a good story too.

This is a brilliant steamy romance with engaging characters and well paced plot. A plan for revenge backfires and a woman discovers her hidden erotic desires. Definitely recommend.

I downloaded this onto my kindle then realsied that it contained menage, which is not really my thing, so i decided not to read it.however, while on holiday and managed to read everything else i reluctanly read this and WOW! i am so glad i did. it has to be one of my fave books. i really loved it. the trouble for me with meneage, i hate the idea of a man sharing his woman with anyone, but jack is no ordinary man. i loved him, i loved the book. loved it so much i brought in book form too. it's a keeper.while reading this on my kindle someone spoke to me, i literally threw the kindle up in the air as if i had been caught doing something very naughty....delicious.
