CoolibarUPF 50+ Women's Maho Weekend Pants - Sun Protective

Frankly, this is the most expensive pair of pants I've ever owned. I bought the pants after seeing how wonderful the Coolibar long-sleeved shirt is (which also happens to be the most expensive shirt I've ever owned). And this most expensive outfit I've ever owned, well, I wear it to mow the lawn. The cloth feels cool and silky-smooth. I much prefer it to slathering sunblock chemicals on my crazy-pale skin. I love the long ribbing at the ankle, mostly because it lets me pull over a pair of chigger-barrier socks for my big mowing bonanza. Even though the fabric is cooling, make no mistake, you'll still be sweating like a glass of iced tea in the hot sun after pushing around a mower in 80+ degree weather. I doubt that's much help to anyone who isn't looking to do yard work in their new Coolibars, but I can say they're comfortable and generously fit for casual wear or even sleepwear. They wash up nicely and seem very durable. I loves 'em. I wish they were a bit lower in price, but don't mind saying they've been worth every penny.

They're not the sexiest pants, but man are they comfortable! The fabric is something else - like a cross between bamboo and soft cotton, the weight is perfect for cool tropical mornings or evenings, and the breathability makes these comfortable for even humid climates. I balked at paying $60 for sweatpants, but I would wear them all day if I could. 5'4", 135#, size medium

I ordered these in black and fell in love with them. I ordered a second pair in white, but I could not love these. You can see through them. So, I highly recommend the black, but I can't recommend the white.

These pants are made of a very nice material. It is a little heavier than expected . . . not what I would call lightweight. I find that all Coolibar products run a little large . . . and long! I wish I could get these in petite size. If you are long-legged I think you will be pleased.

Would give this less stars if I didn't love the style and fabric (which is both sun-protective and antimicrobial). But I must say these pants are not meant for summer in a hot climate, and when I say hot climate I'm talking 90s-110s.The fabric may reflect a lot of UV, but it nevertheless absorbs a lot of heat from the sun. And it unfortunately is too thick to compensate for that fact -- that is to say it is not breathable at all. So you just start slow-cooking in a muggy stew of your own leg heat.I will say, however, if you took this same material and made a flowy skirt out of it, that would probably do great in a hot summer, because skirts obviously let air circulate much more freely.Anyway I only ever wear these pants in mild weather.

I am 5'7", weigh 138, the size medium suits me just fine. Not too tight, comfortable rise and thankfully I can adjust the waist with the drawstring for my curvy body type. I like these pants for weekends around the house and yoga class. I would prefer the same fit without the rib knit leg cuff for actually going into town with friends. I find the knit leg cuff is a bit too casual for going out for drinks. Fabric is PERFECT for Florida heat & humidity. More COLORS PLEASE! :-)

Coolibar makes great products. The sizing is always as expected. A little pricy but good quality. I had these pants in black and cream color and I’m glad I added these green ones. Pretty color, comfy, big pockets (my iPhone X fits nicely) and sun protection. They are even comfy in the humid Louisiana summer. Recommend.

The fit is as expected based on prior reviews. The waist has no real expansion to it. I'm finding the length does not hit my ankle bone , as I normally wear my pants (I am 5' 7 1/2"). I understand current fashion designs some pants slightly above the ankle. The fabric is very soft. I have bought several items from this manufacturer. I am going on a vacation in April where I'll fully test the sun protection properties.
