My son loves these books. Great quality

This story was recommended by our kid’s school, so we bought it and we are glad we did. My kid, who is 7 years old, and even us learned a lot about insects from this book. It provide great scientific details that are age appropriate. They also provide definition of new and scientific terms and how to pronounce them. We are going to buy more and yes, we recommend it to other parents.

The small boys in my family seem to have an endless capacity to read the Fly Guy books over and over. They have certain passages memorized, and they put a lot of feeling into reproducing Fly Guy's buzzy vocabulary. The colorful illustrations are very appealing. It's quite an accomplishment to make an ugly hairy bug-eyed fly look expressive and cute.All the Fly Guy Books are clever. This one is a veritable catalog of all the sloppy edibles that attract Fly Guy, and that's funny and fun. Naturally the humans trying to eat their burgers and pizzas say "Shoo Fly!" All except Buzz, who's always willing to share...

So Cute! We do serious reading, but I like to have some quality "fun books" on hand for my little boy for sheer entertainment whenever he wants to read a funny book, and this series sure fits the bill! It's hard to find a few "quality--more than just fluff" books, but Tedd Arnold has impressed me with his creative and imaginative writing style, who can keep the interest of my little boy through the entire book (no cinderella/prince charming/royal/white horse/unrealistic stories are allowed in our house, so its been tough to find quality books with a strong male lead).

I ordered this for my beginning-to-read grandson and he loved it. In fact, he brought the book to our house, with the Fly Guy stuffed animal I bought at the same time, and read us the whole story while acting it out with the toy! It was delightful. He then went to the list of other Fly Guy books and told us which of the remaining ones he wanted - pretty much all of them! This is a wonderful series, especially for boys.

Bought for my 5 year old grandson. He loves to read this series. Our deal is once he can read the book on his own with no help, I will purchase the next one for him. He is so excited to get the new one in the mail. I am so proud of his reading abilities and he feels a great since of pride.

The Fly Guy series are a great first reader collection. A great alternative to the traditional Dr. Seuss-type books. The print is large and clear and the story keeps the young ones interested. This one is my son's favorite and helped get him going in first grade. Now my daughter enjoys them too!

My son absolutely loves this series. Very happy I stumbled upon it. The stories are short and the wording is large. Keeps his attention. Perfect for my 5 year old. I will be purchasing more of this series as a Christmas present.

A favourite story that the 3 kids have read over and over. Good quality, fun pictures.

my grandkids loved this book when they were little!

My son has several Fly Guy books. The story line in this one isn't as interesting as some of the other ones. It is better for early readers because there is some repetition in phrasing.

Bought a few of these Fly Guy books - my 6 yr old grandson loves them. Great book to read with the little ones!
