REAL LIGHT from a REAL BULB for REAL HAPPY PLANTS
If there are people who never write reviews on here... I am the person who really never never writes reviews. Thank you, Phillips, for making a real light bulb... for real light.I loathe LED lights, and not joking, so do my plants. I have tried 2 high-review LED grow lights for my plants, and with both types, the plant's growth just sat stagnant. They got green, but stopped growing.. leaves just became lifeless and leathery over time. I had several mini rosebushes actually turned so far away from the LED grow lights, they looked like they were ready to jump out of the pots they were in. I can't say that I blamed them either, I couldn't stand turning on the LEDs as they hurt my eyes. After several desperate attempts to save their happiness... I tried these Phillips bulbs (75 watt) ... and thank goodness they are in existence. Not only do they emit a pleasant true light (not sterile, harsh, bitter light of the LED that makes your retinas cry)... but the plants started to even turn away from the sunny window and favor these bulbs. Also important to note that since we started using LED coachlights (which I am anxious to toss)... we haven't seen any moths around... likely because they can sense the high EMF radiation emitting from those horrible LEDs... however, it's a much different story with these Phillips Grow lights, as suddenly, moths wanted to hang out on the window to be near the real light that was making my plants so happy. My mini roses were just sick and meely all the time with the LED products... then after 1.5 days of these 75 watt Phillips lights, they began loads of new growth buds everywhere... the rose buds even turned away from the bright window and moved toward these Phillips incandescent bulbs.Mental Note made: Nature doesn't lie. Most likely if you found these, it's because you loathe the sterile, bitterly sharp cutting light of LEDs... so good for you finding these. They work great. Just make sure to get more than one... will likely need a couple at least to make your plants happy. I am already ordering more as well as backup bulbs. Thank you, Phillips.PS: I also used these with the metal fluted cones/ clamp lights. They come in a 4-pack. Eventho the sticker says 60watt max on them, I haven't had a problem using the 75watt Phillips bulbs in them. Another good product that doesn't take up the space as the old clamp-light reflectors did.Cut and paste this title to find them:Simple Deluxe E26 Clamp Light Socket with 5.5 Inch Aluminum Reflector, Suit for Max 60 Watt Lamp (No Bulb Included) with 18/2-Gauge 6 Feet Cord, 4 PackVisit the Simple Deluxe StoreHappy Planties!

Bulb works great so far.
Works great so far. Bulb gets very hot so if you use it as a basking lamp for a reptile, make sure you have a temperature gun to monitor the heat.

Working well so far...
Been using these to grow micro-greens. They're fairly bright, and put out a lot of heat, which can be a positive or a negative depending on the plants' temperature and humidity requirements. I've found that adjusting the height of my hanging fixtures and moving the plants off center keeps things where they need to be.

Exactly what I needed
I use these bulbs for my chameleon! Best price I’ve found so far and I get heat/basking plus a grow light all in one. Fits all of my light fixtures and works as it should. I prefer the light that this gives off over other halogen bulbs.

Powered two small solar fountains
This light got us through two+ winters for indoor flowering plants, and this spring I put it outside in a canister flood light about 6-12 inches from two small solar fountains. It has been on from morning to dusk and has helped charge the small solar batteries, augmenting limited direct sun light. The fountains do not stay on continually, but are on often enough and long enough to make them interesting. The bulb has now burned out, but I am more than satisfied with how long it lasted, and thrilled that it helped to power the solar fountains.
