Click bait in book form
This book solely exists so unsuspecting school librarians buy it for their elementary school. It has almost no content. Many nice pictures and content that is cobbled together. For the projects part you learn that "many electronic devices are made with components that are soldered together" You can do this by getting a "soldering iron" and "an adult to help you". That's it. Next project: a motion alarm. You do this by getting an arduino and a motion sensor, then go to github and get someones code for it. Tada! you got a motion alarm. This isn't STEM, it doesn't help kids get into it, it just helps to burn STEM funding.

Just an introduction, not enough content
This book mostly reads like a website on how to join the "Maker" community.I was expecting more practical projects, and was disappointed there's really one in the book.
