Coolaroo Outdoor Cordless Sun Blocking Roller Shade

We wanted a shade that would provide protection from the sun as well as privacy from nearby homes. This shade was easy to install, looks stylish, and give us the protection and privacy we wanted. Great product!

Product installed very easily. Make sure if mounting on stucco wall that drill bit is made for cement. All else installed perfectly. The amount of heat reflection has been great. 5 degree reduction inside temperature on a 100 degree outside temperature.

I bought one of these three years ago in hopes that it would cut down on the hot Sun at the end of our porch. It did work very well and as time went by I saw that it held up well also. In September I add one to the front of our porch. They go up very easily and soon we had great shade on one end of our porch all day long.

Amazing sun shades. They keep the room cool while blocking sun but don't darken the room. Sounds crazy but they work really well to keep sun from cooking the room. Bought first one and it worked so well we bought two more. Our house has southern exposure and we love the sun but when it gets to much we lower the shades and it keeps the rooms so much cooler.

We purchased these to replace an old bulky version we installed many years ago. These are lighter weight, well made, easy to install and a life saver during those super hot summer days. Our family room gets afternoon sun streaming through our sliding glass door and it gets HOT! We have two hung on our patio overhang and lower them to keep the blistering afternoon sun from directly hitting our glass doors and heating up our family room. It is a noticeable difference in temperature in the family room. They still allow some airflow and plenty of light, plus we can still somewhat see into the yard and keep an eye on things. We love the low profile latches to hook the bottom of the screen to the posts to keep them from blowing in the wind. Our old one had metal brackets that stuck out quite a bit and always worried the dogs would be hurt by them. The handle/crank to raise and lower the shade is great, but I wish it would raise/lower faster. Not a deal breaker by any means! Easy to hose off and clean and when raised completely, they are barely noticeable on our patio. Basically a great product that is worth the investment! Great color options and like I said, very easy to install. We installed both in less than an hour - hubby is a perfectionist so he takes his time with projects!

This shade was the exact shade that was at the large home improvement store but @$15 cheaper this was a great deal

HEre, the wind rips the anchored stuff right out of the stucco covered drywall. These have tie down bungess on bototm corners, that helps a lot, but still better to roll them up when the wind is comng hard :) Australian outback is like the high deserts of the SW USA so they know what we deal with...sun, monsoon winds and rian....these are great.

This is the second Coolaroo blind I have bought. They are made very solid, yet sheer enough to let through air and some light. Easy to put up. Our first one is now 5 years old and looks like new. We live in the north where the winters can be brutal but this blind can handle it.

Nothing I dislike. Easy to install and works as described. It is an improvement over the older models as the crank handle is less susceptible to breaking than the plastic chains the company used before. Easy to remove to and store for the winter. And relatively cheap. And more or less wind-proof.

This specific item was damaged and I had to return it. But I ordered two other versions of this product different sizes and I absolutely love it. This is a nice purchase for my house. I installed it indoors to cover some windows in the basement. They give a very nice filtrated light without blocking the natural light. It gives the room a nice cosy atmosphere and it provides privacy during the day.
