Bought two of these last year and took them on 3 week camping road trip. Bought them because I thought they would be a quick charge in the car between stops and I was very pleased. Charged easily with the usb cord it came with and the cigarette chargers I already had for my ipod and phone. Even on lowest setting, nice lighting hanging in tent and by picnic table after dark. Just bought a third one with magnetic strip for my husband to use in garage. He loves it. Very bright, projects far as I just used it outside at night looking for my cat. My favorite lights. No batteries, long charge, very bright and I keep them in the tubes they came in while I'm traveling. I find the flashing light feature useless, but the 3 levels of brightness are useful. I'm a serious Amazon shopper. I read reviews all the time, though I usually read the 3 star reviews to get the good and bad. This is the first time I've written a review, though sellers request feedback all the time. I chose to write this one because I've owned 4 different rechargeable lanterns over the years and none of them come close to this product for brightness, quick charge and battery life. Really love it and I have nothing negative to say about the product. Never contacted the seller, but shipping was prompt.

I am a teacher and searched high and low for lights to make a DIY light box for my classroom. There are a lot of suggestions out there mostly focusing on remote controls. For me, I don't mind lifting the lid to turn the lights on and off. I was more concerned about brightness and not having to replace expensive batteries. I bought two of these. Together on the brightest setting, they work well in a white box with a white lid. The white box and lid are necessary to diffuse the light. These are bright enough to work through the lid. I love that they're rechargeable and will last for years. The kids LOVE using the light box. I think these lights are well worth the investment if you are looking for a bright, rechargeable light for any purpose.

Outstanding light output! The amount of light that it puts out on the 4th setting is insane. I usually keep it at around level 3. What's also great about this portable worklight is that it recharges via standard mini-usb. Not some dumb proprietary cable. Everyone should have plenty of mini-usb's at home. Or that can easily snag a a replacement one on amazon for a few bucks.

So far I really like this light, there's a few issues with it though. I've used it camping a few times and use it to light up the tent, playing cards or on trips to the bathroom in the pitch black. I keep it charged either using the BLKBOX portable solar charger or my Anker external power bank. A full charge has lasted me for multiple nights of long use.Pros:-Very bright on it's highest setting.-4 different settings. Low, medium, high and flashing.-Handing hanging straps on both ends.-Slim form factor, about the size of 4 C batteriesCons:-The power button extrudes a bit so it's very easy to have it accidentally turn on in your bag.-The charging light on mine never goes off. Even after a half day of charging the red light stays on. There's no way to know if it's fully charged. I'm not sure if it's just mine that has this issue though.-Would be nice to get a case with this. It comes in a hard cardboard tube which wouldn't hold up if it got damp, good temporary solution though.Overall it's a great light that I would highly suggest if you're looking for a slim bright camping light.
