Mepilex Border Flex 4"x4" 5ct

This is an amazing bandage. A doctor used one on my wound site as I was about to be discharged from the hospital after a 3-day course of IV antibiotics for a dog bite that got horribly infected. For any wound that drains this bandage will absorb a good amount of fluid before it needs to be changed. Plus the material that is directly against the wound is very soft and the sticky border is delicate so it can be removed without pain. Having an infected wound is no picnic but this bandage makes it tolerable and is worth every penny.

This product is great for using with large wounds. It has certainly helped to heal my diabetic, 95 year old mother's foot wound. Unfortunately it is relatively expensive but if you need it then Amazon is the place to go to get it. Could not find it at any of the medical supply companies near us ; they don't stock it because of the high cost per box. Only get 5 bandages per package! It was a "limb" saver along with the medication and MediHoney recommended by the wound care specialist for healing my mother's wound!

The Wound Care Center Dr. told us to get these bandages & these are exactly the same as what they used. Yes, they're more expensive than other bandages but they're definitely worth it. Excellent 4-sided seal, nice padding for the wound & they remove without tearing the skin.
