This is my sons favorite series. So of course he needs to have all the books as well as the dvds. He reads them all, all the time. I enjoy this program as much as he does.

If your kid loves the first two...then they'll love this! Same format, describes the Flightmare, Smokebreath, Typhoomerang, Hobblegrunt, Scauldron, Changewing, Scuttleclaw, Snafflefang, Speed Stinger, and Hatchlings. Only problem is my kiddo wants MORE--"where's the Bonenapper?"

Gorgeous illustrations, highly "informative"...perfect for the dragon aficionados. My 8 year old son shared the and re-shared the "facts" of each volume with his two dragon-loving cousins for days.

Most of the dragons in Vol. 3 aren't in the HTTYD movies, but my 3 year-old son loves learn about them.

Paid $10 for this book, and it only has 10 dragons in this book! That's a rip off!!! More like a robbery!! Don't buy it!
