I've been impressed with SimplyVibe products ever since I ordered the SimplyVibe SV-X6U1. I love that speaker but I wanted a bluetooth model and this one was perfect. The SV-X6U1 is a mono speaker with decent bass and a ton of features. This new speaker sounds even better. It has a rich, full sound that is rounded out by the impressive bass radiating from the back. I try to put it by a wall to give it a boost. For its size it gets pretty loud without a lot of distortion. It's not some deep sub-woofer, get-your-groove-on, wall-thumping boom box, but it's very impressive and more than adequate for my needs. I use it when I'm typing on my tablet at work late at night. I highly recommend this speaker. The price was incredible, the battery life amazing, and the sound top notch! I have 3 of these little babies, beside me, one for the TV so that I won't disturb my family sleeping, other two are for each computer.Do not try music, it is not meant for music- use a headphone. Rechargeable thru USB. You don't have to worry about the power. Hook it up tothe computer USB ports and you are done.

The sound is great, but my biggest issue is that I ordered this speaker to take to the lake on Memorial Day weekend. I thought it didn't work after fully charging it because the battery indicator doesn't work. I brought it work with me today so I could try and figure this out and ask for a refund if the speaker was defective. Turns out it works, but it just won't show you that it is charged. This could throw people off like it did me, and I do wish I had figured it out before the holiday because it sounds really nice, however, I won't be able to ever know the battery level.

For the price, this makes using my tablet version of Audible much, much, much nicer. This is not a $200 BEATS speaker, nor am I expecting rock n roll or massive base out of it. But, for general music, storytelling, radio type music, this is awesome. Battery has lasted all day, notes say lasts 18 hrs, which is way longer than my tablet! So, good battery life! Very good price. Carry from room to room as you do chores, and your source (phone, tablet, etc) stays put. Paired easily with my tablet. Easy on/off and can use universal USB mini charger cable, you may already have around the house. The review that shows the video covered it nicely, and was the reason I chose this over more expensive options. Has little rubber dot type feet on bottom, so sits nicely on tables, washer machine while doing laundry, etc. Very pleased with my purchase.

I bought this item back when it was only $39.99 and I haven't regretted my purchase at all. It has excellent sound for hours. I use blue tooth or a cable depending on the device. Blue Tooth up to 25ft for me. I also like that it is a charger for a phone or tablet in a pinch. Fits in my purse, smaller than my checkbook wallet!This is my second one so I could connect it to my first one. I have better sound, deeper and louder, when connected. It's less than $80 for 2 and I it's as hoi us as Bose when they are connected.I've owned Braven and Jawbox....for the money, these are equals and cost a lot less.

Pros:Unobtrusive and pairs easily.Surprising amount and clarity of sound for the price and size of the speaker.Love that it has a charging input and an output for phones.Cons:It wouldn't bump hard enough for a big party, but that's not really what it's meant for.Buttons aren't really labeled. It's fairly intuitive if you're good with tech, but you'd want to figure it out and explain it to someone less comfortable with playing around to figure stuff out.
