Maybe I should have read the details clearer, but the wood is just a super thin sheet of metal. The printing quality is mediocre I was able to spot the fakeness out of the box. The packaging is sturdy but creates a huge mess...If I had a small garage workshop my lame DIY skills could have built this, I hope it last more than a year

I get a ton of compliments on this light fixture. My only complaint, and if I had read more closely I probably would have known this, is that the part that looks like wood is not actually wood or even fake wood. It is a very thin piece of metal painted to look like wood. It still looks great and I love it!
