Magnificient!
As an old fall by the wayside Catholic, I have not read too much on Mother Mary over the years. I do believe in her, but my Catholic upbringing and education did not give her the justice that Sherrie Dilliard did in this wonderful book. I had read a review of this book on a blog I follow. Being a new age blog I was curious to see a review of a book of Mother Mary on it. The blog was written by a non catholic and was quoting from this beautiful book. I was stunned by its beauty and immediately had to read it.I downloaded it on my Kindle and could not put it down.My sister even bought it after my rave reviews of it. Sherrie Dilliard is a non catholic and she was able to bring the story of Mary to life that I have never heard in my 57 years. Ms.Dilliard links the pregnancy to our own spiritual growth. However as a woman, Ms.Dilliard was able to convey the humanity of Mary, her fears, the rebukes from family and her village, her femininity diminished in her time for being a woman. As a mother of four, I was able to feel her discomfort as she rode the donkey to Bethlehem and to give birth without her mother or family nearby. I found for the first time that I could truly embrace Mother Mary for more then being the mother of Jesus, but as a woman who knew and understood what it is to be a woman. My faith has increased dramatically since reading this book with my meditations now including Mother Mary with astounding revelations in my spiritual life.I now also call on Mother Mary during my Reiki practice.I have read Doreen Virtue's book "Mary Queen of Angels" and it does not even come close to the impact that Sherrie Dilliard's book did for me.I highly recommend this book to any woman who is seeking a deeper spiritual life that addresses many of the issues we face today. The meditations in the book are simple yet powerful and now part of my daily spiritual practice. I just ordered the book in paperback to share with others.Thank you Sherrie Dilliard for this excellent book. It has impacted my life with grace and the Divine Mary prayer I now pray on my rosary which I haven't used in years!

A true miracle handbook!
For many years I've always been inclined to Mother Mary (MM )and there would be sections in my life I would be so close to her and then I would withdraw, not sure why, you get so caught up on the drama in life sometimes. I was thinking about her for some reason in the past 6 months and then I came across a spiritual magazine in a bookstore where the article on "The Miracle Workers Handbook" was featured and I took notes and made it my effort to purchase the book and I did and read it quickly on my kindle. I have one of the manifestation prayers on my phone and I pray almost every day, when I am in a bit of a crisis like: not getting kicked out on the street w/ my kids due to a house where it was initially promised to us and then it was a flop- I went to MM for help - not only did she help us find the most perfect place to live but we also were able to receive money for the sale of the house for our prior renovations. So the book has been a Godsend, I talk to MM frequently, I visit her at the Cathedral during my lunch hour once per week if I have a chance, our union has been a complete blessing for me and most importantly my family - when you call on MM she is there to ease your thoughts of sadness, anger, guilt, all those ego based emotions and thoughts, once you call on her, you feel a big relief and you start thinking about other things. So during small episodes and intense ones...SHE IS THERE - call on her and read this book - it has 7 prayers and affirmations of manifestations and they work! It doesn't matter if it's not written correctly or has a few typos, at the end the reader will understand what the author is trying to say - what is important is the huge life change you are about to experience.

To reviewer Richard Szponder "Richard Szponder"
Dear Mr. Szpondera,You missed the point of this book entirely. If ego is telling you that a typo here and there somehow renders the beautiful message of this book valueless, then perhaps the message for you is to take a good look at your own judgements and reassess whether they are actually helping to sift away chaff, or preventing you from seeing useful truths.Being hyper critical and unyielding only servies to keep on e "stuk" as it were in ones status quo.Jesus didnt come wrapped in a perfect package befitting a Master Teacher and Savior, Niether did Mary - having gotten pregnant prior to marriage, HOWEVER - the world would have forfeited the grace Jesus had to offer if Mary would have "thrown the baby out with the bath water"..... and you will forfeit the spiritual growth and humility this book has to offer if you discount its intrinsic value based upon a couple of typos. The message in this lovely book is to step from behind all the ego steeped conditions that filter your understanding, and open yourself to being more understanding of both yourself and others - Goodness is goodness whatever packages it comes in .......

The "perfect gift" you will end up keeping for yourself
I bought this book as a Christmas gift and ended up keeping it and passing it around to my family. I ordered another for my friend because it is so good. What I love about this book, is that it makes Mary so easily accessible. I "get" her. I keep thinking of her as the mundane miracle worker even though I know she is much more powerful than just mundane miracles. However, most of the miracles I need are, thankfully, mundane so she gets a lot of attention from me these days. For example, I invite her to help me come up with and complete my to-do list. If that isn't mundane I don't know what is. For me, she is an intimate connection and accessible connection with the divine. I also like Sherrie Dillard's writing style. You can tell Sherrie is quite practical even though she is taking about very intense spiritual concepts.

Not the right book for me
I bought this book on the strength of the reviews it had, but I have been disappointed. There are a great many truths in the book, good sound counselling-type advice on self-development and spirituality. It’s written well. However all of it is sculpted around the author’s imaginative projected view of the biblical Mary, mother of Jesus, linking her with a more generalised Divine Mother figure offered as a spiritual guide and caretaker. None of that worked for me. It might work for others, it might not. It’s a woolly concept as far as I am concerned, and interested though I am in spiritual matters, it did not catch me up in its mystique.

Totally Amazing!
I am absolutely loving this book! The information is so rich and warm and it's beautifully written.Incredibly interesting and a wonderful insight on how to get more miracles rolling in your life!I'm not religious and I think most of us are lead to believe that mother Mary belonged to certain religious groups. She did not! She took God from the Church and showed us a direct connection to the divine is available to everyone. This book is a must-have for so many reasons.

the path of mary
This book is a fantastic encouragement for all, who are looking for a new relationship with Mary and the Divine. It honors the Catholic tradition as well as the open minded approach of nowadays seekers. The author opens a step by step path towards a life of God dependency and miracles. Nobody who looks for help and guidance will be disappointed of this message. But one has to let go old ideas and control in order to benefit from it.
