Sacred Earth Celebrations, 2nd Edition

This is such a magical and beautiful book. A new main staple in on my permanent shelf. Beautifully written and illustrated, informative and most of all, created from the heart, I can’t recommend this book enough! Currently reading Walking With Trees and just as in love.

Great book and necessary for those who love creating ceremonies, holding and healings spaces!

I'm sure there's lots of good stuff in here, but the book fell apart almost immediately. Returned.

It's a beautiful book!

The content of the book is interesting, but it immediately fell apart. Pages falling everywhere. I'm trying to keep it organized long enough to finish reading it.

This is the first Glennie Kindred book that I have read - and what a good book it is! Easy to follow and full of useful information for anyone looking into the past to see where our traditional 'celebrations' came into being. Very expressive and written beautifully. Her artwork too is simple yet effective. A book to treasure and this, for me, is the start of the Glennie Kindred journey as I have just ordered another two of her books. Definitely recommended for anyone interested in Celtic history and traditions - through to the modern day and where it fits into our society.

Arrived in the specified time and received this afternoon. Beautifully written and interesting content. Sadly after reading the end section on Samhain for approximately 15 minutes, the pages began to fall out indicating is was not bound properly. I have never had a book fall apart on me before and it’s such a shame as it is a book that I would have liked to reference on a regular basis. I am careful with my books and respect them, so diss appointed that this has happened.

If you are interested in the Celtic Festivals and following the turning of the year this is a great resource. Glennie Kindred tunes you into the energy of each festival and gives practical examples of how you can celebrate it both individually and with a group of people. There is a great deal of information in this book imparted in a straightforward way with great heart. It is a book that can be accessed and appreciated by anyone which is a real gift.

Got this on a recommendation and to say that it is a book to last a lifetime is no understatement. It has so many tips, ideas, knowledge and more about pretty much every aspect of ceremony that you could need. I cannot wait to start adding in some of these fantastic ideas.

Another Glennie Kindred must have. Perfect for understanding so much of the Celtic pathway, celebrations & luminary phases. A really good way to revisit, reaffirm and consolidate knowledge too
