Van Wezel 5867808 Exterior Mirrors

Important - this is for a LEFT HAND drive Caddy. While it fits OK, it is not fully suitable for the UK market. It also has a very different connector for the heated mirror, meaning I can't connect this up. I've no clue how this will do for MOT, as the view is more restrictive because of the narrow angle of the mirror glass. Still, I can't justify paying £160 for the correct mirror.

Mirror fitted the drivers side fine but it is now the same shape as the passenger side. Personally I don't mind this as I always felt it was odd with the different shape mirrors. The big problem I have with this mirror is the wiring is different and the plug connector is not compatible. The colour of the wires is different as well except the brown. There are no instructions on Amazon or in the box. Please send an English link for the wiring. Now the big issue I have is the radio now doesn't work. This is because the OEM vw mirror is the antenna! This mirror as no comment if it is an antenna and if it is there is no instructions on how to connect it. For the price I am happy to a degree because I can now see again and my only alternative was double the cost. But I would only recommend this mirror if one it comes with wiring instructions and two you don't need the antenna.
