Put on my Yamaha ttr125 and it works great

We bought a ttr 125 for cheap but it was pretty beat up, Carb leaked out the over flow when fuel was supplied. I looked into replacing the float / float seal but this carb was only a few dollars more for a complete set up. Pretty much a no brainer so I ordered it. Pretty basic install, I took the bowl off and blow it out as others mentioned but I didnt see any metal shavings or burs to speak of. I also took the needle valve / throttle slide and looked it over and found no issues. The choke blunger area seemed good too. I had to switch out the needle vavle with the one that came with the new carb / the old one had multiple corrosion spots. For good measure I put a new spark plug in and after about 2 kicks and it fired right up and ran pretty good. The old carb took many kicks and leaked. Time will well if this holds up but from the other reviews I feel this will work out great. Now to fix the many other issues with this bike!

I don't usually write reviews but this carb deserves one. I bought this carb for a 2009 TTR 125E although it is listed for use on 2000-2007 TTR125 I thought I would try it from all the good reviews it has received. The power throughout the throttle range, idle and starting is a lot better that the cold blooded stock carb that was on it. I wish I would have tried this carb before I spent the $ on the Mikuni VM24 replacement carb as it never did cure all the cold start/fueling issues either. I will say I did need to clean the bowl, adjust the float for overfill leakage and adjust the throttle cable adjustments all the way in + move the throttle hand grip assembly inboard a bit on the handlebars (.5in), then adjust the idle screw (left side carb) and pilot jet (bottom of bowl) to get the idle to come down to normal. Finally, we have an enjoyable bike for my 13yr old to ride without issue. I would highly recommend this carb even with the few quality control and adjustment reviews it has had and is worth it for anyone looking to alleviate the cold/hard starting issues that the TTR is so famous for.

My ttr125 hasn`t ran in 5 years. This new carb from Zoom Zoom fit perfectly. I didn't have to buy an inline filter because they sent a free one with the carb.Took a few cranks for the first start, now it starts on the first crank. It was idling a little high, so I adjusted it down.This little bike runs great again!Thank you, Zoom Zoom for a great replacement carburator.

Exact replacement for my '06 TTR-125LE. Swapped it out, fired right up. Just needed to adjust idle; better response that the stock carb. For the money, well worth it. Recommend an inline fuel filter between tank and carb, and also run the carb dry after each ride. This will help prevent future issues down the road with dirt contamination and ethanol problems. I also run an 1 oz. of Sea Foam per tank to keep fuel system clean and stable. Keep cylinder carbon free. Highly recommend this product and the seller "Zoom Zoom". Great value.Tools needs: 14mm open end wrench to remove choke nut, small flat blade screwdriver to adjust idle screw, pliers to loosen the throttle nut, Philips screwdriver for hose clamps.

Exact fit and worked like a charm. Plug and play pretty much. Do not mess with settings they are perfect as is out of the box.I couldn't figure out why the carb was leaking when fuel was turned on. I tried to avoid separating the carb from the bowl as it voids warranty, but I had to troubleshoot.I removed the bowl from the carb and the shaft tube where the drain screw is housed was broken right out of the box. Luckily I kept the old carb and I swapped the bowls.Aside from a broken carb bowl, the item was a fantastic fix and considering it's priced about the same as a rebuild kit, I'd recommend this to anyone wth a ttr and idling/running issues issues.

Absolutely perfect right out of the box. Do not adjust anything. Install and ride.For a used bike that is not modified extensively this is the best part replacement. With the ethanol additive and gunk that forms even cleaning the old carburetor in the proper solvent using an ultrasonic was not enough to restore proper function. It always ran lean, popping on deceleration and was a nightmare to start when cold. About to replace the Pilot to 17.5 and main to 110 and purchase a rebuild kit I went ahead and bought this replacement. How fortuitous! Could not be happier.Easy starting, smooth idle, and great response at all levels of throttle engagement. Save the head aches. Buy, install, and watch your young ones enjoy riding. Daughter is ecstatic with smooth idle, even power, and no stalling. It runs and behaves just like her big sister's crf230. Super dependable.

Mounted new carb. Fired right up. Yeah! Then it started overflowing gas on the ground. A little at first then full flow. Took carb off, opened bowl. I found metal shavings fowling the valve. If you get this carb take it apart and flush it thoroughly. After I flushed it and put it back together it runs great.
