Haitian Cookbook: A Beginner's Guide Paperback – November 2, 2012

This is another excellent selection from Planet Cookbooks collection. You don't have to be a professional chef to make these recipes. I am living proof as I now cook from this cookbook series regularly. Anyone will find the directions, ingredients and cultural descriptions educational and easy to follow. Very tasty!

This was a Christmas gift and the receiver loves it!! This was the third book I ordered before I finally got it right.

Love it

This is a terrible book. The recipes are questionable, the photos are grainy and look like they were taken with a flip phone camera. There are better Haitian cookbooks on the market. Definitely skip this one. I had to return it.

Not what I expected.

This book is not authentic and I am Haitian and I can believe this is a book in the market. This book is questionable and the family who published the book is making money off of the nation, with incorrect ingredients and recipes!

It's sad to see how people exploit third world countries in the name of doing charity. If you are a for profit business please say so, if you've never actually connected with the community or people don't become a coach and guide to something you don't know anything about. Get to know the heart of the people before you become an leading authority in the gastronomy of an country's rich heritage including its cuisine.
