Dell OEM Charger
Got this to replace a missing power brick for my Latitude Rugged 14 5414 laptop. I use this laptop in "field" use, in my garage to run OBDII scans. My laptop was completely dead, and couldn't find the charger. I ordered this and got it FAST! It is a Dell original, and it worked properly right out of the package. Charged the laptop up rapidly, and is compact in size to boot.It DID get hot at the outset, but I attribute that to the laptop being completely discharged. When I unplugged it after the laptop was fully charged, the brick was cool to the touch again, so it must have been the complete discharge that got it all hot and heavy. But it is not a problem.Recommend this one if you are on the fence, or are wary of the others being offered.

Works with a Dell Inspiron 15-3521, but likely old stock
So I came into ownership of a used Dell Inspiron 15-3521. It had a number of issues, but one of the biggest was that the original battery was dead. Not dying, but stone cold dead. Wouldn't take a charge, period. Not shocking as the laptop just turned ten years old. Did some research and found that I could buy one of these extended power versions for not much more over the regular version. It arrived and I swapped batteries, letting it charge up fully before running checks. The good news is it was accepted by the laptop fully. The bad news is that right out of the box, it's wear level was almost 13%. So it's likely been sitting on a shelf somewhere for years. It's also possible that the battery is missing some cells straight out of the factory, but that would require me to disassemble it to find out. Since it's working, even with the lower capacity, I'm just letting it go. It was enough to let me update the bios at long last and even carry around without the power cable attached. For a 57720watt battery, even 50394watts is good enough. Not what I paid for, but good enough to get the job done. I used the Dell diagnostic tool and HWiNFO to gather information. The Dell diagnostic pictures are with the original battery showing it was dead. The HWiNFO info is after the new battery was installed and charged to full. It's been working for the past three months as it was. I'll update should it start to fail. New battery, added ram, ssd and deep clean, this laptop is now flying running Windows 10 without a problem.Be aware that due the "extra" capacity, this battery sits down below where the OEM battery normally would. This means it sticks out from the bottom of the laptop by at least a quarter of an inch.(see pictures) For my laptop, this causes the back rubber feet on the corners on the bottom of the system to become useless. The manufacture did think of this to some extent by installing rubber pads on the bottom of the battery. But, depending on the situation, it's possible one corner or the other will tip over to a small degree while using if you put pressure near them. It's actually a good thing on a flat surface, better air flow.Final bit of good news, the laptop had been sitting for about a month without the power cable attached at all after being fully charged. I just booted it up now and the battery had 98% life remaining. So even with the wear level almost being 13% out of the box, what's left is doing it's job and holding a charge like it should, so far. Time will tell. Hopefully it lasts at least five years to come, if not the ten or so like the original.

May Have Damaged My Computer
I bought this adapter 11 months ago as a Dell branded product. A few days ago I could not boot up my 15z laptop. I took it to a reputable repair store to have them analyze the problem. The first thing they did was check the adapter.Instead of putting out 19.5 volts, they discovered the replacement adapter was putting out 12 volts when first plugged in but then the output voltage started decreasing immediately dropping to under 5 volts before they pulled the plug. The unit would still not boot after using an adapter providing the correct voltage. I am hoping that the disk and/or mother board have not been damaged.

Works GREAT
I was able to replace my old charger with the exact same one, and am so happy with the purchase. My old one, which was identical, lasted over 5 years with lots of use. Great product.
