Review: Amazing Wrap Up to the Series! - To say I have been anxiously awaiting this final installment in the Covenant series is a huge understatement. I don't even know where to begin with how much I really have come to not only love this story but Armentrout's writing as well. Even though at times she frustrates me, I can't help but love the simple fact that her writing never fails to lure me in and suck me under and her heroes and heroines are truly swoon worthy and kick butt. Why it took me so long to pick this up and read it, I really can't say other than I just wasn't ready to say goodbye to Alex, Aiden, Deacon, Diana, Solo, Apollo, Marcus, and all the others, and yes, even Seth. But as soon as I did jump right back into the world of gods and goddesses and daimons and half bloods, I was so very thankful I did. I felt at home in Alex's world and it didn't take me long to pick up my love for the series and characters right where it left off in the last book. What most people need to understand about this series is that yes, it is about mythology, gods and goddesses and pures and halves their rolses, their responisiblilties, what is deemed right and wrong in their world. Prophecies and battles. Danger, deception and mystery. Action, sometimes and more often than not, non stop action, but most of all, this is a love story and a beautiful one at that. A story about conquering your fears and never letting someone else determine your role in life. It is about fighting for what is right and for what you want. About fighting for love and those we love. And it all comes together to create a well told story that is completely captivating. I couldn't wait to read this and then I put it off because I wasn't ready for it to be over. And then I started it again, excited about where it was going and nervous as well. After all, I didn't want anyone to die, I loved all the characters and there had already been so much death and destruction. I didn't know if my heart could take one more person I loved dying or losing or not getting what they deserved. And so I started reading slowly and then faster because I just had to know how it all ended. And then I would slow down again because, hello! It was almost over and I still wasn't ready for the ending to be here and to have to say goodbye. My emotions were a little all over the place, a little like what Alex was going through and it was terrible and wonderful all wrapped up in one. Review: Amazing End to Covenant Series That Will Blow You Away - There are no words to adequately describe how amazing this book is. All authors should take a page from Jen and realize that this is how you end a series! Sentinel picks up right where we left off in Apollyon, Alex, Aiden, and gang are trying to find a way to defeat Ares, all while trying to hold it together. This is seriously one of the craziest books I have ever read in regards to the emotional roller coaster the reader endures throughout reading. This novel is packed with action, adventure, and excitement, all while reminding us that these strong, brave characters are still human. It takes an amazing author to be able to do this, and Jen is an expect. Alex and Aiden are stand out in this novel. Yes, the story has always revolved around them, but this amps up the romance between them. There are some of the sweetest moments I have ever read, which could only be pulled off by someone like Jen. If you weren't rooting for them before, you will be while reading this. I was worried that this book might focus too much on Alex feeling sorry for herself or having a hard time coping with the events that happened at the end of Apollyon, but no sirree! Alex comes back ready to fight to the end. She knows the consequences that could occur, but that doesn't stop her from going full throttle, balls to the wall, warrior girl. I was also worried that Aiden might resort to old ways and push Alex away. But have no fear, Aiden and Alex are closer than ever, and they stand by each other through thick and thin. After the last book, I was really hating Seth, but honestly, after the ending of this book, I totally love Seth again. He is such a complex, crazy man that drives me insane, but trust me, your feelings will change toward him by the end of this novel. Last but certainly not least, I must talk about the ending. The ending was so utterly heartbreaking at one point, and had me sobbing. So much happens that I wouldn't be able to keep this review spoiler free if I told you even basic details. So I'll say this, a lot of stuff goes down, and it's not all good. We lose people that are near and dear to us, and I'll tell you now, you will not be happy when one person dies. And just when you're heart is broken and you see no possible way for a happy ending, picture a little Jen Armentrout on your shoulder whispering, "Everything will work itself out." Because it does...in a humungous way. And I was literally cheering and smiling so big by the very last page. The ending is chock full of action, sadness, and tears, but also happiness and victory. Just be warned that you're heart and head will go through some serious emotions. Overall, this is simply an amazing book, and an even more amazing end to the Covenant series. Jen is literally a book writing ninja that just amazes you with her skills time and time again. While I'm sad that this is the last book of Alex and Aiden, I will definitely be revisiting their world time and time again! Go get this book now! Happy reading :) 5+++++++ stars

Sentinel is the fifth and final book in the Covenant series and continues the story of Alex and her friends. I’m so sad that I finished Sentinel because it’s the last book in the Covenant series. But I’m also happy that I finally read this book. The Covenant series by Jennifer L. Armentrout is such a good series and will forever hold a special place in my heart. Jennifer L. Armentrout did an amazing job with this series and I’m not even surprised. JLA is such an amazing author and I love all of her books that I’ve read. "He was my strength when I needed him to be, my friend when I needed someone to talk me down, my equal in a world where by law I would always be less than him, and honest to gods, he was the love of my life." Sentinel was another buddy read with Sophie from Eyes of Owls and I loved reading this book with her. We read Apollyon together in January, so I’m really happy that I didn’t have to wait long for Sentinel. I loved discussing theories with her and talking about the characters. And we’ll probably read the Titan series together too, yay! "Kissing Aiden was like taking a deep breath of fresh air after not being able to breathe." Now back to Sentinel. I loved Alex and Aiden. Their love story is so perfect, and I want an Aiden for my own. He always says and does the perfect thing, and I thought he was so cute when he was jealous. I loved their moments together and I’m really going to miss them. I’m also happy with Seth. He had some ups and downs but he finally redeemed himself. I’m also really excited to read more about him in the Titan series. "Agapi mou, you are my everything." When I was reading the final chapters, I couldn’t stop crying. I didn’t believe what was happening and I couldn’t believe that Jennifer L. Armentrout would end her book like that. But when I finally finished the book, there were happy tears on my face. The Covenant series is definitely one of my favourite series ever. It’s such a well-written series, and you cannot not fall in love with the characters. I’m kinda sad that this series is over because I’m not ready to let go of this story and the characters yet… But I’m so ready to read the Titan series and fall in love with Seth again!

You guyssss 🥺 Another JLA series ticked off for me! What a sensational finisher to this epic series, this last book was everything!! The addition of a Titan, more of the gods, seeing different sides to characters, the damn character development 😩 I can’t!! I won’t lie @jennifer_l_armentrout I was about to start filing a damn law suit against you because if that ending wasn’t gonna turn for the better I was gonna throw some hands. But why doubt 😉 JLA always pulls through thank god - and damn was it full circle and just bloody gorgeous, I had this face: 🥹 for the last 20 or so pages. I always say this about JLA but she just KNOWS how to create characters that you will forever love and think about, her writing never fails me and I can’t wait to continue in this world and move onto the Titan Series 😛 Super recommend you guys read this series, I’d have to say it’s on the more YA side but it switches it up a little! If anything, you’ll just love the characters like they’re your own friends 🥹 5 stars 🌟 “I just don't want you to feel that way, because I love you. I'm in love with you. Forever and ever, and all the corny things I can attach to that.”

Parfait.
