Mechanical Pencil 2.0mm, Magnetic Sketch Pencils with 12 x Refill Anodised Surface Finish for Kids Drawing, Gold

I love this pencil. It's cool looking. It works great. The only problem is that the brushed aluminum surface makes it very difficult for me to hold, because I have rather dry hands, so it's slippery. I have to hold it very tightly when I write, so it gets uncomfortable quickly. I'm trying to figure out a solution, because it's just so cool anyway. That said, if your hands are a bit grippier than mine, it would probably be great for you.

I had purchased the pencil to hold colored lead, as I couldn't find one in store. It wasn't terribly user friendly, and to except enough pressure with either the graphite lead, or the high quality multicolored lead, to get the writing to show up caused the lead to break, necessitating taking apart to sharpen. I haven't used it since the first 3 attempts as the mess and waste of expensive lead on top of the inability to accomplish what I set out to do in the first place.

Lead writes nicely. Novel design. Didn't realize it didn't have an eraser.

Everyone at work has to check it out. Works well and different.

I didn’t have the pen long, maybe a month or two but now the magnet doesn’t move the led inside anymore.

Really nice pencil.Slippery as hell though. Need some rubber spots or grooves to make it easier to hold.
