I was going to give one star, but gave an extra one because the seller had send me an email previously asking for my experience showing appreciation for the business. However, I can't help feeling disappointed with the product and feel the need to leave the review. I bought this for my toddler son's birthday party, for fruit kababs and sandwiches. Unfortunately, I overlooked the "handmade" part in the description... it was so handmade that it looked like it was put together in someone's home... I was first alarmed by the poor packaging, as it didn't look professional and were in resealable cellophane bags. It also didn't have any sort of certification or information on where it's made. What really worried me is when I opened the bag, there was a strong odor. It wasn't just the smell of bamboo, but a hint of chemical, either from the bead itself or something they used to clean the pick. I've considered soak it in water or wash it with dish soap before using, but considering it's for children, I just don't have the confidence to use it on food. Unfortunately it doesn't say this item is not returnable when I bought it. But Amazon was kind enough to give me a refund.

Overall I am satisfied enough to keep and use this product. First disappointment was in the pale color. Then, upon opening the bag, there was a fairly strong odor. I thought it was a paint smell. However, when removing the picks from their packaging in an effort to let them air out, I found several to be stuck together, not from paint but from glue. My order of picks must have been placed in the bag too soon after being glued. So I'm unsure if the smell was of paint or glue. After airing them out, the picks now no longer have an odor; and I was able to separate them with no damage. Finally, instead of 100 gold picks, I received one random red pick and 96 gold. Quantity ordered was more than I needed, so not a reason for me to return; but if advertised as being a certain quantity, it should be that quantity. These are obviously meant for entertaining; and when planning an event, count/quantity does matter.

So these little picks looked adorable...and the wood was sturdy but a lot of the pearls were off when I opened the packet. The other issue was I had adults and children thinking they were edible....they thought they were a candy...no one ate one but I had to make an announcement to stop any one from eating them. I used them for fruit and cheese appetizers and they turned out lovely but I am not sure I would buy them again because so many pearls were loose or off the sticks.

Was looking for something different in the cocktail frill pick department and fell in love with these. My sister in law was helping me plan my mom’s 80th surprise birthday party (there are 2 states between us) and I gave her 3 to choose from. Had my husband pick between the same 3 and they both chose this one. I ordered 4 bags and had them sent to my sister in law’s house and when they arrived she said they were beautiful! Needless to say I was thrilled because we live 10 hours away from each other and I trusted her opinion then I got to see them in person, super nice, great quality and longer than your typical frill pick! Each one is so pretty with a different colored rose carved into them. Would definitely recommend and will definitely reorder the next time I throw a party!

27 of the 100 picks had pearls that had fallen off in the package. We aren’t talking the greatest quality here. That said, they will be perfect for martini olives at a Galentine’s get together and will enhance the pink Valentine’s Day theme. I’m pretty sure that we won’t be drinking 100 cocktails so the lower count doesn’t matter that much. However, just beware that you will probably yield 75% of what you order so plan accordingly.

I’ve purchased these a few times in the past & they work well & are attractive, however today my package was received open/ packaged extremely haphazardly!! I am hesitant to use the ones that were just THROWN in the envelope. I feel as if I paid for something I cannot use. Disappointed!!!

Very good quality, a nice size, and they really added a nice touch to the rosemary wreath of olives and cheese. The zucchini trees were a little too Pinterest fiddly cutesy but people ate them anyway.

The guests raved about these toothpicks (really more like skewers) on which we did small mozzarella balls, halved cherry tomatoes, a folded small leaf of basil drizzled with balsamic vinegar. These were elegant looking and certainly were the "talk o the party." I'd recommend it to everyone. I did purchase the silver pearl with black-topped toothpick version.

These would be purely for arts and crafts and not for using with food, as they are not food grade nor are they delivered in food grade packaging. If like me you have a latex allergy, and a box of cocktail sticks arrives in dirty balloon packaging, you're probably going to ask for a refund like I did. I've attached pictures of the spec I ordered and what I received, in a side-by-side comparison. You can clearly see the disappointing difference.

These were the talk of the table. Used them for the Prawns. Made skewers. I wish I had a picture of them on it. The Pearl at the end is unique and the stick itself is of a good size.Will defo order more for future events.

I made an hors d'oeuvres 'Christmas tree' for guests on Christmas morning and used the pearl cocktail sticks for it. Everyone commented on how pretty it looked.I was very pleased with the product; it arrived swiftly and securely and the cocktail sticks were extra long, strong and beautiful.

The wood is thick and doesn’t splinter. The gold beads looks very stylish and add a touch of glamour when using them with canapés. Very good quality and I thoroughly recommend.

my error.... I should have known fake pearls would not look good sticking outta cocktail sausage.
