Very informative book. Person i bought it for was very pleased with it. Has even started putting together a little shop outside his house.

This book is perfect for hands on reference. The pages are heavy, plastic coated, and very durable. With the ringed binder it can be opened to the page needed and sit on your workbench in the shop. It's laid out well and contains the information needed to set up my forge and get started. I recommend this book to anyone getting into the blacksmith trade.

The book has a lot of color photos and drawings to illustrate what is being discussed and has some projects as well. Has sections on metals and tools. This was a gift for my son and he was very pleased with it and the fact that it was spiral bound so he doesnt have to worry about propping the book open. Would recommend. MM

The book has a nice mix of information that is introduced without making the reading feel insulted. Clear explanations and a great variety of options on actions.
