Poor old girl is having a hard time with weakness in her hind legs so I purchased a few things I hope will help. This was one of them. I haven't used it much because it doesn't work for helping her DOWN the steps and she doesn't seem to need it going up them. I use it to help get her in the car.I will say that it seems to be made well and the part that goes against her body is very soft. The straps seem sturdy and for my purposes I haven't had to adjust them so I can't speak to the ease of doing that. It comes with a small bag to transport it in as well as a Velcro piece that wraps around the handles. I haven't used it yet either but for longer periods of use such as on a walk, it looks like it would be a help.Haven't had to wash it yet so that remains to be seen, but the instructions are clear so I assume it'll be fine.

This truly made my dogs life better. My senior shepherd mix started to have trouble with her hind legs and within days, couldn't stand up on her own. She was a large dog so as you can imagine, her and I had a rough time figuring out how to help her up. She was happy and healthy but those back legs and hips were tired, weak, and becoming more painful.It drove her nuts that she couldn't get herself up whenever she wanted and it drove me nuts that it was such a struggle to help her up. I decided to look in to something to just give her and myself some help. I'm glad I came across this one.It arrived quickly which we definitely needed. It was pretty much ready to go as soon as opening and was straightforward. The stitching all looked perfect and well done. The inside material was one of the things I liked most. It was soft and added to the comfortability. There was no strong smell to it. The straps were attached really well and I'm still shocked they held up.I used this multiple times a day, everyday for a year. It never ripped, frayed, or anything. I cleaned it and it was like new. At times, it held a large part of my dogs weight, she was over 150+ lbs. Just the quality alone was worth the price. My dog never had irritation or showed discomfort with use.I have nothing but good to say, it was a big help for us. The fact it helped me help my dog, is priceless. She was able to go for walks, go potty outside, stretch her legs, and enjoy herself. It kept my back pain at a minimum and I enjoyed the time spent helping my girl.I highly recommend this if you are looking for a lift aid. Do keep in mind if you have a large dog, you will still strain but it will help immensely. Good luck with your pups.

I am so glad that I found this product! My dog is elderly, and her hips are arthritic and her hip discs are completely eroded. She cannot walk without her hind legs giving out. I purchased the padded sling in 'small,' which was perfect for her (she weighs 19 pounds). She did very well with the sling on our first try. She seemed very comfortable, and I could easily support her weight so that she could walk. The straps are adjustable, so I did not have to bend over while walking her. I positioned it directly in front of her hind legs, and this did not interfere with her ability to potty. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I use this to help her outside to go potty, help her in and out of her wheels, and in and out of our vehicles. The soft interior keeps it from rubbing her raw as we navigate the house. The straps are really strong...I just wish I were too!! My 12 year old girl is 68 lbs. Normally that wouldn't be a problem... but with her left rear leg not working at all and her right rear going lame too, she's a lot of dead weight. Not the slings fault at all. It works perfectly. Still looks like new even though I use it every day. when she's not in her wheels, the sling and I help her about. Highly recommend

This product also comes with a carrying bag. It's very well made (I had been using store bags, the material ones). Would cut the sides out and be left with a sling with handles, but this is thickly padded and so much easier on my dog Stormy. She could no longer jump into the car and this made it so easy for both of us. Her weight was evenly distributed and even though I'm in my 70's I was able to get her into the car with no trouble. I highly recommend.

This is perfect for my GSD, it’s nice and soft and sturdy. The handles are adjustable, it is not heavy to use, it seems durable.

I could not use it. The sling seemed too narrow and couldn’t help my Shih Tzu manage the stairs it was very soft and seemed sturdy but just wouldn’t stay in place

This simple idea was the most effective and least expensive!!!We bought three different braces as our big husky had TPLO surgery.This support was comfortable enough for him to sleep in and the handles are perfect for us to grab for his support.Thank you!

Le funciona muy bien ya que ella nació con problemas en la cadera y no puede caminar, con esto yo la ayudo y le parece muy cómoda hasta corre, es de buen material y bonita . Compré talla M ella es muy pequeña como Chihuahua le quedó bien

Arrived way earlier than expected (was supposed to arrive for another 12 days).I got a large for my 13 yr old shar pei/pitt who weights about 73 lbs. and has arthritis in her hips. She’s on previcox so we only need to get in/out of the car because my suv seats are quite high (even with a ramp) and she can’t lift her legs that much or jump anymore.The sling is very high quality, perfect starching and looks like it’ll hold up a long time. The outer canvass makes it rigid enough to not crumple up at the waist but it’s still completely flexible and comfortable for her.I choose this style because I can pop it on & off her tummy while she’s walking in a split second. Especially helpful if she ends up having trouble mid stair - her can assist her in a flash instead of trying to hook up a harness
