This was a great book! So glad my children get to read ...
This was a great book! So glad my children get to read books like this. I only got taught a small percentage of the information in this book when I was young. A quick read for an adult as well. I have always admired Christopher Columbus and love him more now. I admire how these authors are able portray great men and women and their religious beliefs so beautifully. Throw away the history books and read the Sower Series!

This was a good one.
I was surprised how much I didn't know considering there are many, many books written about him!I went back to original records, and this is closer to the true story than most I've read.I'm deeply grieved at the vast number of writings that are little more than fiction (and slander ) in thousands of books on ''history'', and passed off as true...all for political correctness. This was a good one.

Great for our homeschool Columbus Unit Study.
I am very pleased with this book. I read it to my kids for our Christopher Columbus Unit. We also read Meet Christopher Columbus by James T. deKay. I wonder why others gave it only a mediocre review. We truly enjoyed it.

Perfect book for the "alternative facts" crowd
No. Just no. I picked this book up at my local bookstore while looking for historical books for my 10 year old. This book is deeply flawed and elevates Christopher Columbus much higher than he should be. It imagines Columbus' journey as a divine mission rather than a quest for greed. Want to learn about the real Columbus? Read Bartolomé de las Casas instead. You will see that Christopher Columbus was a murderous rapist... so much for Christian character.
