My grandson has broken the screen two times. I refuse to buy another laptop for he doesn't appreciate it, and take e care of it. Buying a new screen is cheaper and easier for him to understand that he has to earn a new laptop. It was very easy to put in and he is satisfied.

I've recently been getting eye twitching when using my Chromebook C720P but not when using my other computer. I decided to try replacing the screen since it seemed to have gotten dimmer over the years and see if that would help at all. I followed a YouTube tutorial by Screen Surgeons that explained everything really clearly. While it was definitely nerve-wracking to crack open a computer, replacing the screen wasn't as hard as I expected. I have it in and working now. This replacement screen does not include the touch screen part, but if your existing touch screen is working, you just leave that alone and install the new screen behind it (I believe the touch screen is just the thin plastic sheet on the outside of the screen) and it will still work when you snap it all back together.

Perfect fit for my Acer C720. Very easy to install and saved me a lot of money. I am so glad that I bought this.Recently, I dropped my Acer C720 a short distance onto a hardwood floor. As a result, it was booting to a white screen with a few vertical lines. It still worked with an external display. I contacted Acer to get it fixed, but it would have cost $129. I searched Amazon and found this replacement screen for under $40. I ordered it and had it delivered for free with my Prime account. It arrived promptly and fit perfectly. No dead pixels or anything negative. The repair was simple, I just followed instructions that I found on youtube. You just need standard tools to fix it. Really a good experience.

Day 5 of school at home during quarantine somehow my daughter broke the screen in her chromebook. Did a little research and this was the quickest/lowest price screen I could get to replace it. Packaging of the screen could be better the metal tabs that mount the screen on each side were bent. There was only a loop of bubble wrap around the screen, top to bottom. That left the ends where the tabs are vulnerable to smashing against the end of the box. This was really not a big deal, because the tabs are very thin metal and I was able to straighten them quickly and easily. Screen looks to be equivalent quality to the original Samsung screen which had part number NT116WHM-N21

Unfortunately, the metal mounting tabs were in the wrong place for the Asus Chromebook C202S. It's pretty clear they were originally there and then snapped off to support a different mounting pattern. The screen works, it's just held in by the bezel instead of being properly mounted to the lid.Replacement was easy enough after watching a YouTube video, and the screen works well, no display issues.

I received a model different than listed in the title. I hoped it functions with the controller that purchased specifically for the model that I was supposed to receive.It also arrived damaged, the tabs on one side are bent because it was not wrapped on the sides within its box.Will check for function and redo review.

First off , I use Amazon a lot ...prices are very competitive ... and if you do proper homework...ie searching sites for items then see if Amazon sells them...most likely you will find it here ..IMOA I have excellent tech abilities so when my Chromebook screen went south ..The inside of display was shot ..Looked Around for the part them came to Amazon to buy it.. received part in about 3 days...Went to ifixit.com for overview of replacing it ..took about 15 minutes to take out the broken one and replace it and up and running
