It isn't rechargeable, but the build quality is fantastic, and functionally sound. Half press for low which can be an adhoc strobe/SOS mode if you wanted, and full press for high. Perfectly adequate beam for close range.

Phenomenal lil’ EDC light. The quality of the light is great. Its about the length of a #2 pencil and the width of a sharpie. It comes with 2 AAA Duracell batteries, and its very very bright. The button is a push down on the top of the pen located on the opposite end of the glass, and can be pushed down once for a steady light, or lightly pressed down and released over and over again for a strobe-like effect. 10/10 for the product. Will clip right into my pocket, and I’ll definitely buy again. 5.11 is a great American company and I’m glad to give them my $ rather than some random china producer.

This is my go to for my EDC (Every Day Carry) flashlight. Plenty bright, batteries seem to last a good amount of time, and sturdy!
