Exactly what I needed.
I live in Florida where our sun is even too much for "full sun" plants. This provides protection against noon sun. I built a frame out of 5' pvc pipe. Perfect.

This shade block performed great during the blazing summer heat in Las Vegas. Potted Herbs, tropical plants, mini roses, gardenia to name a few survived and thrived under this shade block. Would definitely purchase again in the future.

Perfect Sun Blocker
I was skeptical, at first, and after having read umpteen articles on sun blocker cloths, mesh, netting, etc... I get the evening Sun and it can be brutal. The sun hits my front porch which heats up the wall to my front den. I thought, maybe this will work, maybe it won't. So, I tried it. I DOES work. It blocks over 50% of the evening blaring hot as fire sun. It's amazing how well it keeps the front porch shaded. It's cooler, to some degree, and there's no blinding, retina exploding, sun light to contend with. I'm pleased with this product! My den, from the mesh netting, is significantly cooler which helps to keep the AC from running full force. I must say it was money well spent.

Works As Expected
You might find this hard to believe, but many cactus & succulent plants can’t take direct, sustained sunlight over 90 degrees: they burn, and once that happens, they’re permanently damaged.I live in Bakersfield, CA where summer temps easily climb over 100 throughout the summer. So this Sun Blocker does the trick. The addition of grommets and ropes to tie it down make the cloth versatile. You can see from the picture that I hung this from my patio umbrella. I have a second one that I drape over a plant stand. When the winds kick up, I tie it to the sides of the stand. An excellent product. My cactus love the filtered light and are thriving. No more summer worries. Whew!
