The pillow cases were of good quality cotton.

I bought a pair of these to replace old poly cotton pillow cases. They are bright white, obviously good quality & look very fresh. If there is a downside it is that they need ironing properly, but I feel this is worth it for the look & feel of quality. I was so pleased I ordered a second pair, which were slightly different although made by the same company. I am pleased with both purchases.

I also ordered the 800 thread count (same brand but different seller) and those weighed 150g per pillowcase and do feel thicker. The weave on each looks exactly the same and they both have slight sheen, which I like. The inner foldover could be a couple of centimetres longer and the stitching a little finer but overall, for the price, not bad. This is just a first impression as I haven’t laundered them yet.

I ordered these earlier in the month and they were great quality- really thick and satiny so I ordered another pair and very disappointed to say they are quite thin and so not have the same quality of weave with quite a few slubs in them. Can’t understand why the same product is so different only a few weeks apart.
