Hatsune Miku was the first Vocaloid developed by Crypton Future Media after they handled the release of the Yamaha vocal Meiko and Kaito. The name of "Hatsune Miku" was conceived soon after the Vocaloid 2 announcements, when an English and Japanese vocal were developed for the character. The intended design was delayed and later used for Megurine Luka instead. Miku was intended to be the first of a series of Vocaloids called the "Character Vocal Series", which included Kagamine Rin/Len and Megurine Luka. Each had a particular concept and vocal direction. The fine bits are delicate on the face, so make sure to be patient with the pigtails lol

cute sakura miku!
this figure is sooo cute, the quality is so high for its price. the pigtails were a bit difficult to put on but with some force they sit in nicely. the colors are nice and vibrant. she's nice and tall which is a decent size for a figure like her and she's so detailed. definitely worth her price.

Writing this review on my computer. To say the least it came in great shape, and bigger than I expected! It's about half the size of my lava-lamp, and it's not flimsy. Cute figurine!
Though this figure is very cute, I was a tiny bit disappointed with the quality. It appears to be a legitimate Taito figure, but there are definitely a few tiny scuffs on her hair and shirt that appear to be painting flaws (I was able to get a couple of them off, but there are a few still there). The tips of her hair are also a little more opaque than I was expecting and it's hard to see one of the cherry blossoms painted on her hair. The box was also all sorts of dented but that doesn't bother me and the figure was fine. I still do really like this figure and I'm happy to have it (the pose is super cute), but it would've been nice if it had been a bit better quality-wise. Still a pretty good purchase for the price. Good for those just starting to collect!

this figure is absolutely GORGEOUS i love her so much. the box DID come damaged, but the figure was perfectly intact. it was difficult to put the pigtails in, and one still isnt fully in but all together its worth the price :3

Extremely cute and detailed figure!
To start off with, the face and hair look great. I absolutely love how flowing and pretty the hair is, and the gradient from the normal pink to a sort of translucent pink the further you go down is really cute. There aren't any imperfections anywhere on her (as far as I can see) and the box was completely undamaged, which is nice. Very little assembly, (as is the case without most miku figures) just have to put the hair pieces in. My only complaint is that she was a little hard to get into the base, as you have to bend her leg forward a little bit for it to reach into the stand, but it's not a big deal at all. Overall, very cute miku figure and I highly recommend purchasing!
