Beautiful keepsake! So elegantly presented in a lovely envelope with, not only the "Something old..." poem, but the history of the giving of the sixpence. I will be giving this to my daughter-in-law-to-be next month and I know she'll love it! Also, the seller was wonderful! My package came 3 days ahead of schedule and in "mint" condition. ;-) Would highly recommend to every bride-to-be!

This is a beautiful keepsake for a bride.
We wanted to continue a family tradition of a six pence in the bride's shoe so we ordered this one. It comes in a pretty folder with the poem printed on it. The coin is in a small envelope inside the folder so that it won't slip out and get lost. Our daughter loves it, and I'm sure she will carry on this tradition if she and her husband have a daughter. If you are looking for something special, this is it.

I was very happy with the Sixpence. It was a lovely presentation. I got a few as I know there will be other weddings soon.. My mother gave me 3 sixpence coins for her grandchildren and it's such a nice tradition- especially with the British heritage.

Not a Silver sixpence
The 1966 sixpence coin that comes with the card is copper nickel and not silver.However, the card itself is beautiful and will make an ideal gift making it worth the price.

Generational gift
I love that I can pass this down to my daughter (if I have one) or one of my nieces someday sicne there is a line you place your name and the person you are gifting it to, and I beleive also the wedding day. This will be around for generations to come!

Special item for Bride
I gave this to my daughter and as she read it she teared up. She was getting ready and almost forgot it but remembered right before she walked out so we slipped it in her shoe. Tradition is so special and adds that little touch to add to the specialness of the day!

Product was packaged so nicely and the write up inside the envelope was beautiful. Leaving space for each item such as “something old, something new….etc and who gave the item to the bride! Highly recommend!
