Elise is no fan of Christmas growing up on a tree farm meant every holiday was spent working. But when she loses her job, Elise reluctantly agrees to run the family business one last time. With some nudging by charming repeat customer Darren, she begins to feel the spirit of the season. Unfortunately, a big finance company is trying to get rid of the tree lot and convinces the city to shut it down. Elise must find a way to save the lot in time for the holidays.

cute movie best watched during Christmas/Thanksgiving.
Well first off it took me 3 years to see this movie in its entirety. I saw the first part the year it came out. The next year I saw a little of the middle part. Then last year I saw the first part. A little of the latter middle part. Then the very end. Why? Because the movie is not entitled "Oh Christmas Tree!" on TV. I don't have cable/satellite. When I went to families for Christmas/Thanksgiving it was on but with holiday distractions during the visit I didn't get to see the entire part. I did look online for the VOD or DVD but could not find it. No wonder. It had a different name. It was "Fir Crazy" on TV. That is what I knew it to me. I had to search online for the title as I never saw the title when I saw the bits and pieces.Anyway, another cute fairy tale ginger bread type movie. Career NYC girl gets fired during Christmas. Dad breaks foot. So she has to help the family out by attending the family farm tree lot in the city. Her bf breaks up with her. Some new guy is interested in her. The neighboring newly owned dept store hates the tree lot. Etc. In the end all works out . . . on every front. They even threw in a non-confrontational Jew is the mix. Without the resentment she even had a good time at Christmas.Cute, non-insulting, non-offending movie. It actually shows an American I grew up with as far as the people and the city scenes go. Maybe that is why I like it as well. While the guy has an annoying accent he is pleasing to look at. The girl is kinda annoying in the beginning with her arrogant "Im above this attitude". But she is classy underneath and gets her head on straight when she realizes that no corporation is your friend in employment.I like positive movies with positive endings. Who needs more aggravation in this life? Not me

Old School Hallmark Christmas movie
This movie reminds me of the old school hallmark Christmas movies. Very genuine. Sarah Lancaster is a good actress and is enjoyable to watch. Love the whole story.

One of my favorites at Christmas
I used to watch this movie at Christmas back when it was called Fir Crazy on Hallmark until it disappeared a few years ago. Couldn't find it on Netflix or Prime or DVD either, I guess because I didn't know it was renamed. I'm glad I found this dvd of it. I miss seeing the Christmas tree lots and the shoppers, inhaling the cold air and seeing my breath with each exhale, and all the hustle and bustle of the season. It brings back memories when I lived in the Chicago area. I now live in a tiny town in south-central Georgia which has none of that. So I have to get my kicks from watching these movies and reminiscing.

Great Holiday Movie
This movie Oh Christmas Tree is about a young woman named Elise (Sarah Lascaster) who has her dream job as a corporate in marketing and is hoping for promotion. But Elise gets a surprise instead she gets fired from her job. Elise's parents own a Christmas Tree lot that they need help with because her father broke his foot. At first Elise is not happy to having to work at her parents tree farm but grows to love it. She had worked at the farm every Christmas since she was little. One day Elise meets a man named Darren (Eric Johnson). Darren is a grade school teacher. He is always is at the tree lot trying to talk to Elise. He finally gets to talk to her and they hit it off well. The company that Elise use to work for wants the tree lot to go out of business because they share a sidewalk. Watch this movie to see what happens to the tree lot. Oh Christmas Tree is a great holiday movie. Last year when the movie was on Hallmark it was called Fir Crazy.

Fir Crazy is a good oldie!
Every time I see this on TV it's listed as Fir Crazy, either way it's a great older Hallmark Christmas about Elise who is expecting a promotion but ends up fired. Just in time to help her parents with their yearly Christmas tree lot in Manhattan. Elise remembers what's important in life and helps an old man remember what it's all about as well.

Good movie
I liked this movie. It seemed to move slower for me until the end. It may not be one of my favorite hallmark Christmas Movies after watching it for the first time, but it is one that I will watch again. Sarah Lancaster and Eric Johnson are favorite actors if mine and they did a good job in this movie.

Great movie to add to my collection
I believe this movie is also under the name "Fir Crazy" as I saw it on TV last year on the Woman's Channel here in Canada. I was happy to know that it was the same movie and happy to be able to watch this anytime I want. Thanks to Amazon, I got it and the others just in time for the Christmas season, though I watch them all through the year!!
