Versatile Cleaning Tool for Firearms
This brush features a dual-ended design with two bristle sizes—larger bristles on one end for broad areas like receivers or slides, and smaller bristles on the other for tight spots like trigger assemblies or crevices. The nylon bristles are stiff yet gentle, perfect for cleaning without damaging metal surfaces, unlike bronze brushes that can fray or scratch over time. I’ve used it on my 12-gauge shotgun and 9mm pistol, and it does a fantastic job loosening carbon and powder residue when paired with a solvent like Hoppe’s No. 9. Amazon reviews praise its durability, with one user saying, “The handle is well-made, and the bristles are firm enough to clean nooks and crannies without scratching” (web:0). It’s also versatile beyond firearms—some folks use it for cleaning tools or other gear, and it’s non-breakable for tough scrubbing. At $28 for a pack of three on Amazon, it’s a great value for regular maintenance.

Great brush depending on how much they continue to go up in price
I love having a bunch of these in the shop. I currently use them, more often than not, to clean metal filters on my coffee roaster. Have used them in firearm maintenance and cleaning as well and they are awesome.

Essential for good cleaning
Also an excellent tool for cleaning, that should have been include in the cleaning kit.

Good but….
I bought both this plastic bristle and the same brand brass bristle. I like the brass better. While this one is equally good quality, the brass works better on my carbon residue and if I want plastic, I’ll use an old tooth brush. Jmo
