Good fountain
I have recently purchased this item and have it in my bird bath. Like the height of the spray -- just a question. How do you secure the fountain in the middle of the bird bath. Seems like the small suction cups aren't doing the job. Has a tendency to float and I'd like to keep it in the middle. Any suggestions??

Needs direct sun
Love how compact this is. It took less than 3 seconds in the sun for the pump to start working. Does not have an on/off switch. Automatically starts working when the sun comes out. Stops when in shade.Simple design. No unnecessary parts.Wish it was just a little more powerful.I’m using it in an old fruit bowl in my garden.

Works even on overcast days.
Works nice! Runs even on overcast days. Only complaint is it isn't heavier, and wants to float around in my bird bath (the two tiny suction cups don't want to hold on the concrete bottom of the bath)

1 for 3 worked... Watse of time.
We had purchased two if these and one out of two worked!! The one that did work looks great and we love that it comes with different connectors to do different fountain water fall motions with, HOWEVER the one that did not work we exchanged and once the new one (3rd solar) arrived (in the evening) we placed it in and come morning it was making a odd noise and seemed to struggle sucking up water to come out the spout. . A couple hours later it stopped working.Such a hassle that only 1 out of 3 worked.

Cute little fountain (in my birdbath.)
Different nozzles for different sprays. I leave it in birdbath and birds are not put off (until I put a taller spray nozzle on.) They did not like the water dropping on them. Must check on water level so that the little "motor" does not burn up.Wind can blow the water away if spray tall.

No go for me
This fountain is great if you have a large pond (you can NOT adjust the flow for a bird feeder- major gripe) and if you don’t have any hard water. I have hard water even through a filter enough to settle on the solar panels and cause them not to work. The biggest problem I had, and I even ordered a second one to try again...I cleaned off the sediment it worked once, I cleaned off again and no dice!

Bought two and they really do work!
As you see they work great in the sun and even when partly sunny. The only problem is that they pump the water out so fast that I have to fill the birdbaths often because they keep running even without water!

Disappointed
This would be a great fountain for a sunny location in a larger pond. I got it for a standard sized birdbath. The problem I have is that it can't suction to concrete so it moves all over. Set some rocks around it, which helped somewhat, but then the wind comes along and blows all the water from the very high pattern of water right out of the birdbath. Birdbath was dry in less than a half hour. Love the patterns you can get with the different heads, just can't use it in my birdbath. Once I get around to setting up a pond I will use it in that. Also, the solar part is neat till the clouds cover it-seemed to scare the birds with it going on and off.
