I've waited about 6 weeks to review this pillow as I've had many which have promised much but failed to deliver, in particular going soft after a few weeks and failing to support my head and neck. I bought the deep fill but, much to my surprise, found it was too high. Now the brilliance of this pillow design is the shredded memory foam filling can be removed. So I unzipped it and removed 2 handfuls, which I stored in a sealable plastic bag. It was still too high so repeated the process, and again the following night, massaging and smoothing the pillow each time, until the height was perfect. My quality of sleep has improved tremendously. I'm developing arthritis in my neck but most nights I sleep right through whereas previously I would wake up several times during the night with a stiff or painful neck, and get up with the same problem. Now there is a little stiffness occasionally but most mornings none at all. Gentle aerobic stretching exercises first thing take care of any stiffness. During the day my neck and shoulders stiffen up if I spend too much time looking down. Previously I would have to take pain killers, now I don't. It seems proper support during the night assists my neck and shoulders during the day. I've also noticed a big improvement in my back. A properly supported neck helps the back to stay aligned when asleep which means much less stiffness in the morning and during the day. A previous post mentioned the pillow is lumpy. On a flat surface I massage the edges of the pillow towards the centre, smooth it out then flip it over. The underside is now smooth and ready for sleeping on. After a few weeks the centre started to go soft so I simply pushed 2 handfuls of the filling into the pillow. I find it is too big for the pillows cases I have so I lay the pillow case on top of the pillow. I cannot thank the designers of this pillow enough. It has improved my quality of sleep, my neck, my back and my quality of life.

I ordered these because my husband and I struggle to sleep sometimes... fluffing, refluffing, folding pillows trying to get comfortable. We have tried all types from uber soft to medium (can't stand hard), and almost every type of fill you can imagine. They ALL go flat after a few weeks or a month or so, even the ones that promise not to. In fact, I would often wake up with sinus headaches or neckaches from our pillows. These pillows however changed all that! My husband says at least once a week now "I love this pillow". It has improved our sleep dramatically, and I no longer wake up with neckaches. I like how we can adjust the height of it by adding or removing stuffing. My husband's is fluffier than mine because he is a side sleeper, whereas I removed a little more filling from mine since I spend most of the night on my stomach. We keep all the extra stuffing from both pillows in its original plastic bag, and there is actually enough left over to make a 3rd pillow! There was a strong chemical smell at first, but I just saturated the pillows with Febreeze for the first couple of weeks every time I changed the sheets. The smell faded a lot after the first few weeks, and is completely gone now. In fact, I hadn't even thought about the smell until I started writing this review. There are two covers - a thin inner case with zipper that holds the shredded memory foam, and the outer bamboo fiber shell that is very thick and soft. The bamboo fiber cover washes very well without any change in shape or quality. The pillows are easy to fluff, and maintain their shape without flattening as you sleep. It truly does cradle your head, and even molds to it as you sleep for the perfect amount of support. These pillows are one of the best investments we've made in a good night sleep! Well worth the money.

I have been searching for a pillow that will actually support my head at a correct angle and relieve neck pain and headaches. The approach of establishing one's own fill level seemed to be the only solution (other than air or water filled, which have their drawbacks.) I tried buckwheat husks but found the result too hard. So I tried this shredded memory foam pillow. Taking it out of the package it appeared quite flat as they ship it in a compressed format. I followed the instructions and let if air and decompress for 24 hours before use. I still found it of a normal thickness, which isn't adequate for me as I'm a large, square shouldered side-sleeper. I mentioned this to the seller and they graciously sent me a second pillow so I could add additional fluff. In my zeal I overfilled it but had counted the handfuls and have now reduced it back to a "just right" level. It gives me the support I need. The pillow covers are nice and good quality, although kind of waffle textured. My only criticism is that shredded memory foam is a bit lumpy so the touch to your hand is a bit bumpy, but it doesn't feel that way as much when you lie your head on it. It the end I'm very grateful to have a plump enough soft pillow to support my big head and so far neck pain seems to have abated.

In the last 3 years ive spent a fortune on pillows. Microfibre ones soon lose shape and offer little support. Latex ones cost loads and are only good for back sleepers. So was quite curious as to how shredded memory foam would work for me. In short really well. You can add or remove foam to find what works for you. I have found with this specific brand really good quality and enjoy a deep sleep. The pillow itself is on the firm side but ur head sinks ever so slightly to get you in that perfect horizontal position. Above sounds slighty contradictory but what am saying is its firm but comfortable. The outer cover stays quite cool which is a plus and ive found the pillow also good for resting against when watching tv in bed. Best endorsement i can give is i intend to buy more for my house as and when others can be swapped. I have never bought same pillow twice as generally didnt like previous ones enough to warrant it. martian pillows are worth the outlay.

I've lost count of the number of pillows I've tried and rejected over the last few years. Finally, I've found one that I'm happy with. It's thicker than pretty much any other pillow I've used. It should be good enough for most people, but I actually wanted it even thicker. When I contacted the seller they were happy to send me extra filling. You can't beat customer service like that. I'm a side sleeper, so I need a lot of neck support. The shredded memory foam in this pillow can be easily beaten into position so that it provides as much or as little support as you need. I imagine it would work for all sleeping positions for that reason. The pillow cases are top quality, too. In all, I'm very happy with the pillow, and very impressed with the customer service. Recommended! EDIT: After a month of use the memory foam seems to have lost most of its bouncebackability. It now compresses down into a very hard slab when I lie on it. Still gives great neck support, but is no longer soft enough for me.

These pillows are brilliant, wish I had found them years ago. They are so comfy to sleep on. Although they are really filled and high as we both have medical conditions where we need to be really high in bed, I asked for more filling this was sent straight out and received the next day. I put extra filling in last night and omg what a brill nights sleep we both had, only woke up the once. I cannot stress enough how good these pillows are, they even rebound themselves I have bought rebound pillows in the past and they don't do it. I have recommended this company to Family and Friends for when they need new pillows. Best customer care service I have ever had.

It is a very good pillow - it simply is that simple. The pillow is filled, and it squishes in, then stops, which gives a special sense of support. And it really is very good - and for the usual price of these sorts of pillows it is great Value. It isn't cool, but it isn't hot - fine for me, but you would have to get a cooling pillowcase to make it cool. It is very filled - it definitely is not flat. The memory foam does not have a nice smell - very chemically smelling. (It seems to be fading!) In summary: Great support, good filling, decent cooling, very full, bad smell! Well recommended.

Some of the reviews regarding this pillow have been based on the first couple of days. So I thought I'd give it a longer test. Based on the reviews and the description I decided to purchase the pillow back in January 2021. I fully understand the instruction sheet telling me to let the pillow air for a couple of days after opening and before actual use, as it smelt really unhealthy, almost toxic! The next task was to adjust the fill to get the right comfort factor, which took a few hours. I recommend you do this during the day and not when you go to bed like some of us, me😩😵😴. Even with a full week of airing the pillow it still smelt quite toxic, making me question the exact hygiene of the foam pieces that were used to fill it! So, cutting to 9 months later, by no means did it live up to the description! You think that you have it sorted for a comfortable night's rest and about 5 minutes later it's like the Princess and the pea! It gets lumpy and really uncomfortable, and no amount of position change makes any difference at all, so the only thing left to do is try and fluff it all up and start all over again. It got so annoying that I eventually started to think that it may have been a medical problem, but separate neck and shoulder x-rays ruled that out. So it's back to square one again with the search for a decent pillow. As for this one, well, if a friend were to ask me what it was like I'd say it was 💩! If the manufacture wants to get back to me with any explanation I'd appreciate it.
